Thanks ICTD, her character is a lot happier so she must have been in a lot of pain.

Last night I finally tried on the maternity swimsuits I had ordered. I got them from MandS during their buy £50 of goods online and get £10 off offer. 1 swimsuit is going back plus I should still get the £10 off meaning I 'only' paid £22.50.

The washing is back out on the line again. Yesterday we brought it in before when the BBQs started.

Last nights meal was HM risotto with store bought garlic bread. Microwaving the risotto is the future.

I'll make lunch and then we'll start painting.

Shala, how did you knock 5.5 years off your mortgage?

We over pay every month by £123, our monthly payment is only £877 but I persuaded OH to pay £1k instead as it saves us £20k overall.

I also made a big overpayment at Christmas of £5k to put us in a better position when we re-mortgage in Aug/Sept.

Enjoy your decorating - or at least the results x
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Big overpayments make a huge difference. When we moved house we put another £11k, which would have been used for renovations, but took us into a lower % rate.

The painting is done for today and we got done what we wanted to do, plus the washing is dry. I'll catch up with everyone's diaries then plant some flowers.

Tomorrow we 're going to order the travel system. Woohoo.

We're back from ordering the travel system and the car seat. I'm a bit peeved we were not about to get any extra money knocked off them. I've just remembered the assistant was supposed to check if there were any vouchers in their booklet but did not. We got the maxi cosi car seat as it's in a price match but the family fix was not so we'll buy it when it's cheaper. I've not bought everything else I was going to as I could not get the discount. I'll just have to use the mothercare app instead. This forum has changed me.

ETA: we bought them on a 0% credit plan over 6 months so the cash will stay in our account gaining interest for longer.

Shhh, don't tell Mr P but I've just overpayed another £200.

We've ordered the family fix at the reduced price and even remembered to go through TCB. Why didn't we remember TCB at the beginning of the week.

Yesterday we had a wonderful morning. We saw our baby and he or she is healthy. I was so excited the night before I could not sleep properly.

I plan on making quite a few things for the nursery and the baby. I'd best start designing and making. I have a lot of fabric already so need to search through it and see what's suitable.

Mr P was away on business last night and yesterday I had to pick up materials for his trip. He's presenting to heads of Europe of a client. How strange that DH and Mr Tilly are doing the same thing within a day of each other.

Financially I expect to be paid an extra £100 a month which is great as I might, just might, make our financial targets this year. Helped in part by our water bill going down yet again. It's now £15 a month.

Thanks ICTD. I really want to book a private scan at 30 weeks. Another 20 weeks is too long to wait and see what he/she is doing.

I have been researching more quilt ideas and know what I want to make. Now I need to design it.

I've picked up the travel system and car seat and managed to get an extra £10 off the price. :T
