I've been to the doctors again and I have to have some tests done but it could be I'm on the verge of fainting and I'm stopping it from happening by laying down.

Poor you!!:( Hope you feel better soon :)

Thanks ICTD, I've been signed off work for a few more days until they can run some tests. I was supposed to go to the Ideal Home Show today but have cancelled. There would be a lot of walking around and I don't want to test the fainting theory. It's a shame, I would have loved to have gone and had managed to get free tickets through here. I hope it goes, I really don't want to be put on bed rest.

Mr P has decided that if I'm on the verge of fainting then I can't drive - arghh. He's working so much at the moment that even when he's home he's working. Plus I can't visit my sister in case I have a virus.

Take care of yourself and little one.. good idea not to go to the Home show, it's hot and stuffy in those sorts of places..

Hope the doctors manage to come up with some answers, presume they've already checked it's not low blood pressure?

Hi Shala, my doctor has been taking my blood pressure but did not say if it was normal or not. But I would say pre-pregnancy I would get told a lot that I had low blood pressure.

We're trying to organise the house, which is great timing as we're in the middle of decorating! I've needed a new jewellery box for some time but have a lot of costume necklaces that end up in a birds nest and bulky bracelets so they won't fit in a jewellery box. Any suggestions? I really don't want them on show as it's not the bedroom look we'll have. I saw on Pinterest a great idea to hide a wall mounted jewellery store behind a painting but we'd probably buy the materials and never make it.

I'm still off work. I had some blood took this morning for tests. Hopefully they'll find out what's going on. But this means I've not been spending money.

Re the jewellery we've started to attach hooks, but need more, to the inside of the wardrobe door so I can see what necklaces I've got. I still want a jewellery box but that's a want and not a need so it'll go onto my wish list and hopefully someone will buy it for me for my birthday or Christmas this year, next year, the year after that...

I'm doing bits and bobs when I'm feeling well enough, I've:
    • Emptied and put a chest of drawers up for sale on FB and someone is interested.
    • Found some more clothes that fit now or will continue to fit to the end.
    • Defrosted the freezer - there's now loads of room and I wrote a list!
    • Started to make some art for the baby's room.
    • Cleared out some old books and sorted through some sewing bits.
Mr P is working so I'm a bit bored.

Sorry to hear you are still having problems, hopefully they'll find out what's going on. Probably a wise move not to go to the Home Show, but it is frustrating when you want to do stuff and can't!

That's a good idea about storing costume jewellery. At the moment I have a box for necklaces and a box for bangles and bracelets. But because I can't see at a glance what I've got, I end up hardly ever wearing it. Not sure hooks would work for me as we have sliding wardrobe doors, but maybe there's somewhere else I can put hooks. Ideally I'd like a unit with lots of tiny drawers for everything, but I don't think it'll ever happen

Goldie, I liked Hartleys floor mirror (search for on Am@zon - sorry it's not letting me provide a link) as behind the mirror jewellery can be stored. Look at the bracelet bar. There are some lovely ideas on line where hooks are on cork boards and inside nicely painted picture frames. Like you I'll still have a problem with chunky bracelets so will have to come up with a different idea.

Thanks NG for thinking of me and I'll have another look on my local g-on. I'm up in Northern England. Will you now use a different accent when you read my posts? He he.

As we don't know what each other looks like, am I the only one who thinks everyone else looks the same as me? With the exception of the men of course.
