I was disappointed on Friday but I'm trying to be positive now. December would have been bad as they may have implanted the egg too early. January is also not great as I think there will be more competition for the spots from the ladies delayed in December and the new ones in January.

Just another couple of presents to buy, including one for myself, and I should be done. I don't think I've ever been this organised. Of course, I don't buy for Mr P's family. He has to do that.

Today was a NSD, yesterday was not. But yesterday I did walk 4km.

    Well done on the walking!

Sorry to hear it has been pushed back, but hopefully you can get everything prepared and sorted so you are completely ready when it does happen.
I've definitely got my fingers crossed for you!

    Thanks BM.

For my birthday, nearly 2 months ago, Mr P ordered me a lipstick but got the wrong colour - and it's shocking. He was meant to send it back but forgot. What should we do? The lipstick would have cost £12-£15.

    Arghhhhhhhhh.

With some members of the family we agreed a budget for presents but because they ignored it for his birthday presents he's going to ignore it for their Christmas presents! So I'm the only one who's sticking to the budget. What's the f******g point! It's really frustrating. Do not stay annoyed. Do not stay annoyed. He's not even going to use a present we bought one of them the other weekend. Do not get annoyed. Do not get annoyed.

For the lipstick - how about use it for a secret santa present?

Are there any birthday's coming up that you could regift it for?

Sorry to hear about your frustration. It is so difficult isn't it? Well, as long as you have stayed to your budget, that's about as much as you can do really unfortunately.

  • Thinking of you peonie, hope you're not going to be going to much in January. I know that your body gets a hammering so make January as easy as possible . Xx

and we're having a bad start to the New Year.

But first of all; hi MC, I've started the injections and so far it's going well. I'm trying to not get stressed but this year is not helping.
    And hi Newgirly.

We've had some bad news. An immediate family member is seriously ill. We don't know the medical options yet. I've had a few days to get my head round the news and now the shock is over I've realised me being upset is not going to help them. I've got to be there for when they are and help them when they need it. I'm finding it hard not knowing what the future holds.

Today Mr P just got a parking fine letter - £60 for going 15 minutes over. I wish we'd received the letter 2 days ago, we now know there is licence-plate camera recognition technology, and I parked there yesterday and went a few minutes over. So I'll also get a £60 fine. Arrgggghhhhhh.

I'm trying to financially plan for this year. I'll post something soon but I have a feeling the plan is going to change a lot throughout the year :)
