we need to find out if they will accept day suits.

£300 whizzed over to my FD saver. Meaning I only have £150 to save before I hit my sunny day target. Then it will be party time.
Nope, they don't allow day suits. So we're thinking about investing in a tux.

I've checked my account, no more money should come out. So with £152.01 in my account I've hit my rainy day target. :T:T:T It feels like an anti-climax. Probably as 1. I need to check my accounts in a few days to make sure I really have reached it. 2. I planned to throw more money at the mortgage but with all the activities in the diary I have to hold more back. Why does something always come up?

My ISA is up in a week. I was going to transfer it to a building society but they've since lowered the rate even more! I can't believe they are now so bad. I don't know what to do. I have £15,000 in an account that will pay pitiful interest. Over £12k is our rainy day fund and the rest our sunny day fund. I need a plan.

'Something' is activities with friends and loved ones - don't knock it :T (could have been a hole in the roof :D).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

It's weird you should say that. We have to have to fix the roof and external walls before winter.

We've had a water meter installed which should bring the bill down.

This weekend was pretty cheap. We were invited round to friends for lunch so we contributed some food.

This afternoon we took Mr P's car for an MOT. It will cost £300 to get it road worthy. It could have been worse.

I had my specialist appointment today. He's referring me for IVF. It's great I don't have to wait 6 months before I'm referred but I'm gutted it's come to this. The doctor seemed very positive it would work.

Earlier in the week I was in a bit shock about the whole IVF thing. Now I feel like I've come to terms with it. I have to relax and be positive. I told work and they are supportive so that will make a huge difference going forward.

We tried assisted conception - unsuccessfully - and then decided IVF wasn't for us for a number of reasons

Thanks MWC. I had not even considered not going through with IVF. I'm sorry assisted conception did not work for you.

Thanks NG, it's at least 3 months until my first appointment. It's going to feel like an age.

I've been saving for months to buy myself a present. An epilator. Happy present day to me. It was £129.99, then £79 and now £58. Plus I got points. Wohoo. Now I have to pluck up the courage to use it.

Mr P is out at a networking event. So tonight it's just me and the TV.

    Pun intended? :D

I haven't used mine for a while now but I found it's not as bad as you expect!
