lol, I wish I was all sorted!!

Though I have finished all the thank you present shopping today, thankfully. Also, my cake toppers have arrived and I LOVE THEM. I can't wait to see our cake on the day!!

I can't decide if to make Order of Service cards or not. It's a civil ceremony so it's not like we NEED them. I think I might make an A4 poster with running times for the day and stick it up with our seating plan. It'll save a lot of time, stress and hassle on my part!

Need to email our DJ but that'll take all of 5 mins this evening.

And I think that might just about be it!

Off for a facial in 30 mins, can't wait to chill for a wee while. And my beautician is getting married in about 8 weeks time, so totally knows where I'm coming from re wedding stresses lol, it'll be good to talk to someone in the same boat!

And next week I have appointments for waxing, eyelash extensions, getting my hair cut and coloured, getting my nails done and a massage..as well as 3 days of work still to do! I'm not finished til 5.30pm on Wed, it can't come quick enough!

How about you, how are you getting on?

Few jobs to do tomorrow, coulple of presents to buy, and MUST dye my hair.

Had a meeting with our priest tonight, and we are now all signed off to get married. After the meeting I go so excited I started crying :rotfl:, guess it is really hitting me now!

Just Monday and Tuesday in work for me next week (nothing to do either. I work in construction and next week is just me sat in a portacabin supervising our 2 labourers, so it is chippy Tuesday this week!)

    Then a busy few days:
Wednesday is pick up dress, get nails painted, eye brow wax and drive back to Liverpool, fold and staple order of services (MsShopper, ours are 12 sides PLUS covers :p ), thread last few paper cranes onto decorations, sheathing chart
Thursday is go to hotel to pay more money :(, meet mum and her work friends at their lunch break for a cup of tea, pick up cousin from airport, (do everything I didn't do on Wednesday!)
Friday is drop everything at hotel, assemble centrepieces, name cards etc, rehearsal at 8pm
  • ah bride2be2012 u will be ok, ur mostly sorted, exciting!!!!!!! cant wait to c your cake pics. We are having a very simple order of service, just cos i wanted one lol so its just one a4 sheet folded in half with an insert for a reading, all matching with rest of our stationary on red card.

well, I've had a busy weekend and now I need another one to recover lol, really wish I'd taken the week off work!

Thank you presents are all bought. Decided not to do an Order of Service but I'll just print out a couple of A4 sheets for the venue to put up with the seating plan withe the running order for the day. And I've just emailed our DJ with our songs. So that should be me FINISHED!

I'd imagine a few things will crop up this week but I'm really past caring now! I just want the day to be here and to be married to my darling OH :o!

Congratulations to xtinkersx & MrsErtastoBe.
Looks like all you 26 May brides had busy weekends! I on the other hand have contracted OH's man flu so I spent most of the weekend in bed feeling very poorly, and totally neglected any last minute tasks. Thankfully, my early organisation paid off and there wasn't much to do - which is just as well! I'm working today & tomorrow and I have so much to do before I go, but my brain isn't really working today & I feel rubbish, so I can see it not being a very constructive two days!

I ordered all the suits from an online hire company, as it saved us quite a bit and they all arrived on Friday morning. Annoyingly both OH & the best man need different sized jackets so I'm having to get more sizes redelivered. Just waiting to have that confirmed but overall we are both very pleased with the quality & service.

Our rehearsal is tomorrow evening at 7pm. Then I have Wednesday off to get our house in order - cleaning, ironing, washing all need doing. As well as organising euros, & making sure we have clean clothes for mini-moon.

Thursday will be spent driving around, picking stuff up. Need to collect our cake from M&S and then decorate it myself; pick up my hoop; collect the outdoor garden games we've hired; and the hired cake stand.

OH is off work on Friday so he can pick up the table centrepieces, while I get my nails done (and hoping to squeeze in lunch with my BMs!), before we load up as many cars as we can get hold of(!) and head to the hotel to set up for the reception.

Eeeeeeek, feels like we're on the home straight now girls! :j

    how are we all doing??

To those getting married in Sat - is anyone else feeling that it's not quite happening yet? I still can't get my head round the fact we're getting married in 3 days! I'm a bit excited, but not stupidly so, a little nervous about saying our vows, but it still doesn't feel quite real - does that make sense?!

I think I am done organising. I had my hair cut and coloured yesterday, getting all my waxing done this evening (legs, bikini, underarm, eye brows) as well as eye brow tint and eye lash extensions. I've just booked our airport hotel and car parking. I finish work today (4 hours and 42 minutes!) but really want to be outside in the sun. Have the dentist tomorrow (boo) and then getting a massage, pedicure and manicure on Friday.

Friday night we are going for dinner with any relatives that are around (some are staying Friday and Saturday night) along with our parents, and my bridesmaid.
