I'm back at work now after a monster of a hen weekend. It was absolutely brilliant: we sang in a private karaoke booth, had a burlesque lesson, were serenaded by an opera singer, had dinner, dancing, cocktails and champagne. I'm absolutely wiped out!

Back at work after my wedding on Sunday. It was an absolutely perfect day, it really couldnt have gone any better. Will post some pics when I get them.

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you to everyone on this thread. Got plenty of tips and advice.

Our day went brilliantly, with no hiccups at all. Really was a great day!

Well I have only just recovered enough from my hen weekend to get on the laptop! Very many congratulations to all of you who got married at the weekend. Your pictures were lovely Bluefire & repetesir. I look forward to seeing more!!!

We had a great weekend with no dramas in spite of my worries. Everything was a total surprise but my friends did a wonderful job of organising. we had a lovely flat as a base for the weekend, with a naked butler (urgh, he was really not attractive!) who served drinks and did also strip. My least favourite part of the weekend! We followed that by a night out with full VIP treatment at a bar/club. Then the following day we dressed up as cheerleaders, went for a dance class to learn a routine, followed by a night out with strippers, some stage appearances from me (cringe!) and more drinks and dancing. It really was an amazing weekend and a great send off. OH returned from his stag do in Amsterdam rather worse for wear. They had two muggings, two lost phones and one arrest (none of which applied to OH!) - so their do was rather more eventful...! *rolls eyes*

The weather forecast was heavy rain all day with the heaviest about the time of the photographs. I hate people staring at me so we got the band to ask people to join in during the first dance after a minute but people didn't understand properly and didn't join us for the whole song (and I forgot to hook up my dress so had a long train to avoid lol).

Honeymoon soon, I can't wait! :beer: (Will be having lots of that as its all inclusive lol).

Err.. this wasn't as quick as I thought it would be lol.

agh, 16 sleeps!!

To do this weekend:

• Buy heel grips for my shoes
• Buy blue 'I Do' stickers for me shoes
• Email DJ with first dance choice (I think we have finally decided on Snow Patrol 'Chasing Cars'. Not my first choice, but compromise was the name of the game lol)

Also we are going to see the registrar on Monday afternoon to go through the ceremony. Need to check if we can have 'Highland Cathedral' - not sure if they'd count that as having religious references. I know it's the tune used for a lot of Psalms, but we just want it played on the pipes, so hopefully it'll be ok! Then once everything is OK'd there, I can print our order of the day!

OH's off for his stag do tomorrow, so I have peace all weekend lol! Going for dinner with my mum and one of my bridesmaids on Sat, so that'll be nice.
