It's really exciting to be reading everyone's posts about their last minute preparations. Good luck to all of you getting married this weekend!

I'm with you Bride2Be. I wish I could hibernate for 3 weeks, wake up, put on my dress & show up looking well rested & radiant. As it stands, I'm fed up with people telling me how tired I look - and I swear I have never had as many spots as I do right now. WAH!

After what has possibly been the worst week in my wedding planning experience (I'm just a stressed, exhausted, acne-ridden, anxious, emotional wreck - and shadow of my former self!), I am actually looking forward to my hen this weekend. The promise of wine might have a lot to do with it - especially after this week. Quite honestly, they can argue amongst themselves all they want, or drop out at the last minute, but as long as I'm there and the wine keeps coming - I'll have a great time! :rotfl:

Enjoy your hen night, I know I enjoyed mine (well, the bits I remember ), there was A LOT of wine involved, I know that much!

I'm managing to keep the pre wedding stress to a minimum. I have just started working in a new office (with the same company) and so only 2 or 3 people know about the wedding and I am happy to keep it that way! This weekend may be the start of the stress though, off back home for the weekend so might be stressed out by our mums!

I managed to sort out the vows issue and the registrar tutted at me a bit but said that it was all ok! Woohoo.

I am not at all well today, so am going to do very little in the hope that I get better soon as I only have 7 days til the wedding! My cat is also very ill and I am off to collect her from the vets at 11: she possibly has lymphoma but we may not know before we go on honeymoon next Sunday so it's a bit stressful at the moment.

Here's my to-do list:
- finish favours (already made all of the boxes and stuffed them with the chocolates, just need to tie the ribbon around them and put the name tags on)
- decorate post box (bought one from ebay in the end rather than try and decorate a box myself as time was running out, so just need to add a plaque to the front and do something with some ribbon.)
- book cab for groom to venue as he's done nothing about getting there!
- buy thank you presents for mum, MIL2be, nan, hairdresser, make up lady, and dad. Any one know anything about pocket watches as I want to buy one for dad.
- Book taxi back from the airport after honeymoon
- Hair appointment tomorrow
- Wrap all thank you presents for ushers and bridesmaids
- Pack suitcase for honeymoon
- Get dresses pressed

There's probably even more than that!!

We have also had a person pull out so I need to amend the table plan and also find someone else to fill that space as we've already paid the final invoice.

Will keep me busy this weekend at least!

Didn't sleep that well because I am so nervous to the point of feeling sick.

Getting married at 2pm.

I'll try to be on before my honeymoon starts later this week to let you know how it went.

I have had such a productive weekend:
Order of service booklet covers done - each one is stamped with the words

OH and Clairus
Order of Service
26.05.12

With embossing ink, embossing powder sprinkled over the top and heat gunned to set it all

Thank you cards made (same idea as Order of Service)

8/15 centre pieces constructed

Cake toppers finally complete (glasses and veil added by Dad!)

Mum is completing the signing frame
Dad made our post box
MIL to be is finalising sweetie table and church flowers
FIL to be is doing place cards

I need to take some photos to post on here xxx
