Its a strapless dress which has a corset top with a few sparkly beads across the bust. It then opens out to a slightly fuller shape with a very few sparkly beads down the side.
Its not a very good picture because im not standing up straight, my sister caught me off guard! :P
Your dress sounds amazing!0 -
Your dress sounds gorgeous, though your pic isn't showing up?0
-
Aww, i dont know why its done that! Let me try again...0
-
Oh, they're both showing up now - sorry!
Your dress is just gorgeous – love it. And how tiny is your waist???0 -
Thank you!
Hahaha, i dont know how the hell the lady managed to get my waist that small, i honestly had no idea!!
A couple of years ago i lost 8 stone with weight wacthers - i used to be a size 26 - and i can honestly say i have never seen my waist look like this!! Got to love a corset!x

Oh wow, you deserve one of these for that! :T
I'm currently 22 pounds down since starting (and restarting!) my wedding diet last summer. I'm hoping for another 20 or so before the end of May to hit my goal (and I'd like to keep going for another 20 or so after that to reach a stable, healthy weight). So if you have any tips for getting and keeping it off, let me know!0 -
Wow, go you! I just changed fattening things to less fattening things, simple as that.
Instead of Walkers crisps, i ate Quavers/Skips.. instead of 'normal' bread, i ate Nimble bread... instead of full fat yogurts, i went to low fat yogurts and instead of naughty chocolate like double deckers and lion bars, i went for snack size maltesers.
You sound like you are doing brilliantly... i just want to lose 9lbs to get back to my goal for the wedding so we are both nearly there! x0 -
lol, I have forgiven him as I am inviting a lot more friends than he is!
MrsErtas, that's fab news you have found your dress! It looks fab!
And MShopper, you will have to post pics of your finished dress too!
Going for my first dress fitting on Friday!! I got my dress from ebay, and have had it over a year, so hoping it still fits me! Have put on a bit of weight recently and been trying to loose it again but been really stressed lately so been eating loads of chocolate which undoes all my good work!
Looks like I will def be out of work at the end of Marchbut for some reason I'm not too worried about it at the moment, is that weird?? Myself and my colleague (there's only the two of us) had a chat about it this morning, and neither of us are particularly happy in the job, it's not what it was (I've been there almost 5 years, my colleague almost 7). So even if our board manage to secure extra funding for next financial year, we don't want to be there. On the other hand, it seems very stupid of me to leave 2 months before the wedding!
On the upside, I do have an interview tomorrow morning, so please can everyone keep their fingers and toes crossed for me please?!0 -
bride2be, I'm with you on the stress-relieving powers of chocolate - it's my weakness!
I'll cross my fingers, toes and eyes that your interview goes well. Good luck!!0 -
Well I managed to haggle in free tea and coffee with mints after the meal. Still working on free canapes after the ceremony. Will let you know.
Found a great site for piano music for the ceremony http://www.pianoreimagined.com/song_list.php?Genre=47&&start=0
Going to download a load of swing music for background music during sit down meal then hopefully the music is sorted.
