    Following points you should perhaps be aware of:
    • People will take their cash for their stash elsewhere e.g. Bodyshop sale, ELC sale, Tescos Argos M&S etc and find they are a) at 70% already and b) cheaper to begin with c) have a bigger range left….therefore, all in all the public will discover much more appealing places to shop
    • People will not be so willing to spend extra pennies on their toiletries in Boots anymore to build up their points through the year. They will go to POUNDLAND!!
    • People will get a taste for money saving and find there are better bargains to be had elsewhere and never ever return. . . .
    • All your gifts are HUGELY marked up and overpriced to begin with (a mug and some marshmallows for £8? Are you having a laugh? What world are you living in??)
    • After your pretty PATHETIC offers of the week this year before Christmas WE ARE LOSING PATIENCE with you.
    • We have precious little money, next to no loyalty and WE WILL SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!
    • You have ruled the roost for too long and I for one am kicking myself for having parted with my cash down the years in your establishments
    • No more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Go and count your stock levels now and wonder what in the world you are going to do with all of it…….

  • I usually buy loads in the 50% sale then buy another load in the 75% and take back any duplicate I bought from the 50%. This year I bought a few bits in the 50% online as I won't be able to get them in the 75% but don't see anything I'd buy now. What's everyone after? Am I missing something? My local store has loads of stocked shelves but nothing I'd really buy. Mainly Weenicons, Strictly and other stuff I'm not sure I'd want even at a 75% reduction. Each year I've spent hundreds in the Boots sale as it's been good but now I can't see what the excitement is. There was no S&G stocked and hardly any toys. I do get caught up in the hype of it all and love a bargain but won't be taking a trip especially to visit Boots (but I will go in if passing ;o))

    No sale because we are still buying. It will prob go ahead at some point as pointed out staff are not allowed to use there discount card. But dont forget its a sale not a right. They can cancel it whenever they want. Its starting to look like when/if it does happen, they'll be nothing left to buy!

    As for us shopping else where i doubt it. Where else could you get all these gifts before xmas? Boots looked like they had the biggest selection (to me anyway). And im sure every year they repackage what doesnt get used. Take the sancutuary sets. They sell the full size and travel size bottles anyway!

    And we all know about boots selling to places like pound land.....
  • is anyone staying up tonight with the rummours of sales starting tomorrow??
