Not every item is on 3 4 2 anyway so 50% off is a very good price IMO.

I've saved a fortune on toys from Boots
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

do people not realise that they arent saving that much money buying in 50% off sale, if you bought 3 items at £10 each before the sale it would have been £20, now it is £15. I know to most people £5 is alot, and it adds up if youre buying quite abit, but stuff seems to be flying out of the stores and online, and alot of the stuff, in my eyes, isnt even a bargain! People just see 50% off and buy. To me 50% isnt enough to be considered a bargain, especially in Boots where they are over priced to start with! Things are on offer in other places throughout the year (especially toys) at around about the same price as they are in boots now, sometimes even better. Really wish people would hang fire and not panic buy, there wont be a 75% sale ever again at this rate =(

Well, seeing as we are all on here at silly hours of the clock waiting for the blasted 75% sale to start I think you can safely say that we agree with you :rotfl:

I've bought one thing in the 50% sale because I would have kicked myself if I hadn't and they had none left. The rest can wait - if they have anything I want left when (if ) they have 75% off then I'll be happy :D

That idea about it being nearly the same price at 3 for 2 as it is at 50% doesn't hold water for people who just want one item, or several items with disparate prices. I can see why in that case people do buy at 50%. I don't as most of it's overpriced even at 75%, but I do understand why others do.

Sounds like Boots either changed plans or purposefully put out a false date to throw shoppers off the scent. Can't see why they'd want to do that, nothing is gained by torturing people who intend to go in and buy loads.

That photo worries me! I only checked one store. Surely they won't have the sale starting at different times in different stores will they??? Grrrrrrr to Mr Boots. I've never known this amount of uncertainty before!
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:

oooh what to do ... its pouring with rain and can't decide whether to go and see if its started. I looked yesterday to see what was left in my local store and there was a staff shelf lay out plan with a title of 'Live 13/01/2011' stuck above one of the shelves.. which made me think it was possibly tomorrow ... Ho Hum !
