just rang Kingston Park, Newcastle branch def not on there, they don't know when it's going to be.

You've got to remember staff have been told not to talk about the 75% off sale. Staff might be lying because they have been told to and are worried about their jobs.

Or of course it just might not be on today. The manager who told me said it was on in the next few days and that its nearly always Wednesday as its the price change over day.

I'm going anyway.

ETA that Clarks goes 70% off today so if Boots isn't 75% off then I'm headed to Clarks to stock up on kids shoes!

I've just queued outside with a small bunch of people at Sheffield Fargate branch. SA opened doors - everyone else started streaming in. I asked if the 75% sale had started yet and she said NO.
This was good enough for me so I didn't go upstairs and see for myself, but carried on to work!

I know my local store did very well last year in the time between the 14th (when 75% usually starts) and when it actually did start. Think people start to panic that it wont go to 75% and buy anyway. If I really wanted anything I would probably do the same. I also know that my local store has been smashing the daily sales targets since 50% sale started so perhaps over the years more people do start buying earlier. Am guessing Mr Boots would be very happy to get rid of stock and not reduce to 75%. The hype for this sale seems to grow every year and I've noticed it getting busier in store every year on 75% day. I still want it to go to 75%, just wont be the same this January without the chaos in store and website holding page for hours only to crash within minuets of 75% sale going live, days of not being able to get online @ boots.com at all. The happy memories from years past.

Reading all the posts, doesnt look like its on!
Im waiting to see whether I need to wake my OH up to look after my daughter so we can go in!!

I hope it will be at some point although 3 items disappeared out of my basket yest. so people are still buying at 50%.
