Boots 75% off sale - possible date

just been in the southport store not on there still only half price :-( staff were around the few things they have got left in there condensing it all onto 1 shelf wonder how many people they have seen walk in and out again when they realise its not on bet they are having a right giggle !!

Just been to my local store, asked sa but said 'not yet, but didnt give any idea of when,shame as theres wasnt much left anyway.

I think the fact that they have signage printed up is a positive thing though. I expect the stores that put it up were jumping the gun & trying to save time in the morning but, like us, the staff in those stores were only guessing that they'd get the go-ahead from head office today.

This would fit with what an SA told me a couple of days ago about the hoads and the abuse that they received from some. I rememer when the doors opened, the first few in had bin bags and literally scooped all of the No.7 sets off the shelves into the bags before running upstairs to do the same. It was hell.
Maybe Boots are deliberately doing this to try and avoid the hoads and abuse?

Last year people reported stores that accidently started the sale early over-rode the till to give 75% off (presumably thinking there had been some mistake that the tills weren't updated rather than thinking the sale had been delayed).

Morning all! I have been following this thread with interest and have been dreaming about the Boots sale for the last 4 nights! My BF tells me I need to get a life!
Anyway, I couldnt get onto my PC last night to post my bit of info but I spoke to my local store manager yesterday afternoon on the phone and she confirmed to me that it will be next week and that it will more than likely be Wednesday as historically this is the norm. So for me I will be doing my reci trip on Tuesday and hope nobody buys anything over the next week :-) To be honest at my store there is no Gok or Santuary stuff but loads of Front Cover make up, Strictly vanity cases and Cambells soup cups hahaha. But as a big fan of Front Cover make up I will be stocking up on this and also be converting my friends over the course of the year with the pressies they will getting :-)

We too took a chance and went to town to see if it was on, but alas no joy.
My sister asked the sales assistant if she knew what was happening and said no, the SA was 'really suprised that it didnt go ahead today as they are all geared up and ready to go' (her words).
The staff had done a check on certain items to see if the tills had updated but still showing half price.
Oh well.................!

Still 50% at Wyvern in Derby and very little left (& most of it not fit to purchase). Sun cream etc all out & another empty aisle ready for stocking.

still 50% in tamworth staffs aswell,annoyed as they open at 8 rang 3 times between 8-9 said sorry were closed gaah so rang at 9.05 when i was outside my daughters school and nobody bothered to answer so had to pop down to see

After reading this thread last night and then this morn, I presumed it wudnt be on, so I didnt bother going to check our stores in southport, but ta for confirming x
