i just called two stores east kilbride who told me it hadnt started and they didnt know when it would and coatbridge said that they werent doing it this year at all it was staying 50% off eeeekkkk!!!!!!!

i'm fed up now oh well have saved on some needless shopping i presume ...

i honestly cant see it being at some stores but not others. its nationwide once it goes live. i think we're all clutching at straws, me included!

I remember last year they postponed it and a couple of the stores did not read the memo so went ahead on the wrong day so not all stores may have it on the same day

but the tills wouldnt be right with the prices would they? you dont need to read the memo for the till to change the prices. *shrug*

We used to call them "Trent Planners" when I worked at Boots. I thought everyone called them that, then I worked for another retailer and found that was not the case - most shops call them "planograms"!

I think it is obvious that Boots are trying to avoid any advance publicity to avoid crowds etc, & so will not give out clear info to anyone, including their own staff. We will just have to wait & see.
I think the fact that they have signage printed up is a positive thing though. I expect the stores that put it up were jumping the gun & trying to save time in the morning but, like us, the staff in those stores were only guessing that they'd get the go-ahead from head office today.

Watch this space i suppose...

Surely tho, if one store went ahead with wrong memo, the tills would still show up as 50%, I would think the tills would be run by a centralised computor and not individual to stores? I dont know, but just a thought x
