When I left the store, there was plenty left!!
Well worth it this year. don't know whether I shall bother next year though!! :j
I was at Westwood Cross as well! Got there at about 8.50am and everyone was very chatty in the queue. Lots of people suddenly materialised at 9am and it was a bit of a crush but not rowdy and fairly civilised. Some mums with buggies but they were just trying to get at stuff like the rest of us and were not deliberately blocking the aisles.
I'm so pleased I went as I managed to get 3 of the red Sanctuary vanity cases and 3 of those Soap and Glory big tin things. I combined it with the vitamin/vit shot glitch which I saw had been restocked so got 15 shots and 15 cheap vits and Ricola sweets and the glitch took roughly £7 off my shopping so very happy!
Thanks to everyone who kept the thread updated with news about the sale - you are all fantastic!0 -
Just got back from Bluewater. I was really shocked at how rude some people were there! Most people had trolleys and were acting like animals filling them up with hundreds of items and blocking aisles. I did have a giggle with the security guard though watching the loopy ones!0

I went to Old ham store, was busy but ok. I went to the tills furthest away from the sale area and a man served me, said he was getting stressed a needed a fag!! I told him not to worry, not much left so it would all be done with soon.
Two other sales assistants were talking, one said 'how did they all know it would be 75% off today' the other one replied 'something to do with that man off GMTV who tells everyone how to save money, he's got a website or something. Apparently, he said the staff get first pick of the sale stuff, cheeky sod, I didn't even know we would have a big sale'0 -
Just got back from K1ngs Lynn Hardwick and quite alot left, Sanctuary boxes, S&G Tins, Hello Kitty Liberty, Project D (what l smelt, smelt awful though), White stuff, Lavender, Taco sets, Gok Wan, Bobbypin.
Spent £52.99 and chuffed to bits with my haul. :money: Hardly any people in there too.
See you same time next year folks. xx

I'm back from the Trafford Centre. I got some good bargains, but it's probably all gone by now as there wasn't that much there.
However, like others have noticed, the behaviour of some was a sight to behold: most people were well-behaved but a bit rushed, but one man was just clearing everything on certain shelves into his bag in quite an aggressive manner. I got chatting to some staff in a nearby smaller store, too, who said that last year one of the members of staff had been hurt in the fracas at the TC, and this year they actually had memebers of the Centre security making people line up to get in instead of allowing them to just swarm at the doors.
I'm all for a bargain, but not at any price. People who behave badly like that should be thrown out of the shop and not allowed to buy anything in the sale. Unbelievable!
P.S. The staff at the smaller stall didn't even know it was on: they still had all their half price signs up. They were shocked that we knew before they did! Please call me 'Pickle'

Just a note for anyone who has picked up a S&G tin to give as a present. My tin has a voucher inside with an expiry date of 28th February 2012, which you may wish to remove!!
(Lancaster branch was very busy but civilised, shelves being cleared rapidly but quite a few Sanctuary large gift sets left).0 -
