I think that boots are hoping that by reducing certain non selling items at 75 would lead to impulse buys of other half price items.

As for the disappearing stock, I think they want us to belive that stock is now selling fast at half price.

nope your not, i work in Boots and yes fcuk bags are 75% off making them £11.25 but nothing else is going to 75 off, yet.
boots hold a conference call on a monday and that is when they will/if decide to reduce it again, (it will be on a wednes) but it is selling much better than ever before and this is my fifth xmas sale, we have no more to fill up with and are not getting anymore in deliveries, so we can't see it happening .
Also staff can no longer use our discount on 75% off or clearence, so it sucks.

If you read post 3937 the person has explained that it will be on a wednesday and that Boots are having a conference call on Monday to decide if there will be a sale or not.

By you posting the same thing continually will just clog up the thread.

20 posts asking when the sale date will be is a big excessive !

Same with ours, they normally have aisles and aisles of sale stock at 75% off and even 90% but they have started restocking all of the toy aisles with new stock (a few baby toys are there at 75% off). 6 aisles of Christmas stock seem to have been emptied and filled (sparsely) with things like packs of nappies. Of the other aisles where Christmas stock was, 4 are empty and only two have 1/2 price gifts and toys left. Very few toys that I would buy at even 75% off.

Oh no I went back into Boots and bought one of the fcuk bags, I wish I could have more will power like some of you but did manage not to buy the overnight No 7 bag which I really want after lifting it off, putting it back, lifting off putting it back............


I will I will wait to see if there is a 75% sale!!!!!! keep us updated

Things selling better than before according to ANGELBOB, yeah right! It might be in the store you work in. However in our local store literally 5 aisles of stock has disappeared overnight and you expect me to belive that its all been sold.
