I'm confused placed 2 orders last wed, both of which had the gok deluxe box in them. received an order despatched email for one and an order ready for collection today for the same order. Rang customer services today to find out what had happened to the second one. Got a really helpful customer service girl who said second order was stilling waiting to be packed and there were no more gok box's in stock so i wouldn't get it. She tried to find one instore somewhere for me but even the stores showing instock for her when phoned said they had none. Just when i had accepted I was only going to get one (so mother in law would not be getting for mothers day) received an email to say second order has been dispatched. So fingers crossed when i go 2moro to collect everythings there. Not sure I will sleep tonight I want my gok box LOL.

I really don't think boots have a clue what they're doing. I'll be having fun seeing whats actually in my parcel when it turns up lol:rotfl:

Similar apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, but it is Boots related.

If you are a member of the Boots parenting club, you will have been posted some money off vouchers for the period valid 13/12/10 - 31/03/11. Amongst them is a voucher for a free Elle McPherson or Bath Works product when you spend £5.00 or more on baby products (with some exclusions). The voucher itself does not say which product you are entitled to, so in effect you could pick whatever you wanted regardless of the price.

I had purchased 2 packs of multipack (4 in each pack) baby wipes totalling £8 (instead of £12.24 as these were also on special offer) to qualify for the offer.

So far so good, but this is the key part. When I went to the checkout the voucher scanned as a credit towards the cost of what I had in my basket, and although the Elle McPherson product I had purchased ( a foot and hand kit) had been reduced in the sale from £11.95 - £7.17, the voucher still gave credit to the full value as well as taking into account the sale price.

Thus, if you are still with me, my total product purchase was £24.19, and I paid a grand total of...........£3.22!

Confused? The maths is £11.95 less £4.78 (sale reduction) less 11.95 (voucher) less £4.24 (baby wipes bundle discount) = £3.22.

I have checked the receipt and assure you everything is on there and the sales assistant checked it herself.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else has found this.

would you mind PM ing me the code please can't find the coupon amongst my stash prob chucked it thinking I would nt use it but will certainly give the above a try!!!

Just wondering for those that requested home delivery, which courier do they use? I was given a DHL tracking number but it says 'Parcel with courier for delivery' so it seems that they have passed the parcel to smaller courier companies to deliver it. Any idea which one will be delivering please?

Mine came on Monday and it was a lady driving her own car, I think they are employed by DHL but work as an when required on a self employed basis, so it could be anyone, her car was full of boots boxes and she just had a sheet she was working from no signature was required just handed the box over.

I wish that Boots would stop showing stuff that you think you can buy but when you click on it, it says discontinued.
