Boots 75% off sale - possible date

I collected my two Gok Deluxe sets today and both boxes were battered! I gave one to my friend and I didn't realise until I had got home and checked that they were both broken.

I was very lucky to get one in good condition at Christmas so I will transfer my new goodies into that one and throw the box away.

It looked like someone had played footie with it

Make a complaint. Whether something in is the sale or not, it should be in pristine condition.

My friend already has hers and it is the first time she has ever used Gok Wan toiletries. I think she is more interested in the items than the box :rotfl:.

I am going back in tomorrow with my set to complain.

I bought an item which had an item missing unknowingly and when I took it back they said 'It's 75% off, what do expect?' quite frankly whether I pay full price or quarter I expect to receive a complete gift set. On asking whether they would offer an additional discount in the light there is an item missing and it was said that they would not as they would send it back and reclaim the costs off the supplier. Surely if that were true there would be no 75% off sale??

Have emailed customer services regarding this but they have ignored my email, this set is not available anywhere else and is not available in any stores however they do stock the one item that is missing.

Boots, I'm afraid you have lost your muchness, and as for the random despatch emails, I had two of the same on orders I placed for the this works perfect skin sets too, and the orders show the extra sets. Do we know if that means we are getting double our orders?

I collected my gok box yesterday from the shop, and it was in perfect condition. It's lovely, so I decided to keep it for myself! I'm glad I didn't pay £18 for the risotto set - the pan is quite lightweight and the addition of rice, some chilli flakes, a wooden utensil and small tea towel? (very thin cloth) no way add up to anything like that, but for £4.50 it's pretty good.

I've also had despatch notices for two works perfect sets, so it'll be interesting to see what turns up.

I should have been able to collect another of my orders yesterday and one today, but although despatched five days ago they haven't arrived. They seemed to have disappeared in transit - or else they were never sent on that date in the first place. Fingers crossed.... :undecided

The box I managed to snag in the Boxing Day sales was in perfect condition so I will keep all my Gok Wan toiletries in there if needs be.

It's just frustrating that the two I ordered in the 75% off sale were both ruined and looked like they had been kicked about a la football lol. The box was sealed when the Boots SA bought it to me so obviously the damage was caused at the warehouse.

I just ordered the S&G for men, £5 instead of £20. It has been saying add to basket for a while but every time I do it says out of stock. Tonight, it added to my basket and I paid for it. I have already received 2 S&G vanity cases (£8.75 each instead of £35). I didn't expect to receive them but I did. I am doing the lottery on Saturday!!

No I'm fairly sure you can't do this. To pay with Advantage Points you have to pay the full amount of the item, not a part payment...

I was disappointed with the box itself, I have given it to my son as a treasure chest!
I got the vanity case for my birthday a few months ago - its fabulous - far superior to the gold box, and it was cheaper. I am impressed with the contents of my Gok set though :j
