After reading about the posters who haven't received their dispatch email, and being one of them, I phoned CS and was told that I should have received an email apologising for the delay, and that if I'd have given them my mobile number they would have contacted me.

I said that was the most pathetic excuse they could have used. What was wrong with my landline or email as ways of communication?

I was then told they'd had problems "cos of our sale". I said they'd had problems for several years when it was their sale, and all I wanted to know was when I could expect my order, which was due for collection on Wed, but I hadn't received the dispatch email.

They said it would be delivered by Saturday. Guess what? Ten minutes later I got an email saying it had been dispatched and could be collected on Wednesday!!

So, the moral of the story is ................ if you haven't received the dispatch email, then phone: 0800 915 0004 is free. HTH

I have received an email saying that my 2 "All Round Har S&G" sets (£8.35 instead of £35) have been delivered to my store. I am so excited!

Similar apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, but it is Boots related.

If you are a member of the Boots parenting club, you will have been posted some money off vouchers for the period valid 13/12/10 - 31/03/11. Amongst them is a voucher for a free Elle McPherson or Bath Works product when you spend £5.00 or more on baby products (with some exclusions). The voucher itself does not say which product you are entitled to, so in effect you could pick whatever you wanted regardless of the price.

I had purchased 2 packs of multipack (4 in each pack) baby wipes totalling £8 (instead of £12.24 as these were also on special offer) to qualify for the offer.

So far so good, but this is the key part. When I went to the checkout the voucher scanned as a credit towards the cost of what I had in my basket, and although the Elle McPherson product I had purchased ( a foot and hand kit) had been reduced in the sale from £11.95 - £7.17, the voucher still gave credit to the full value as well as taking into account the sale price.

Thus, if you are still with me, my total product purchase was £24.19, and I paid a grand total of...........£3.22!

Confused? The maths is £11.95 less £4.78 (sale reduction) less 11.95 (voucher) less £4.24 (baby wipes bundle discount) = £3.22.

I have checked the receipt and assure you everything is on there and the sales assistant checked it herself.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else has found this.

Thanks and sorry you have had the same fate....actually I've been waiting so long for some of the stuff in my package and got so fed up, I'm not even excited about it anymore and may <shock> return some of it (well, all good intentions...) as I've been round the other shops and picked up some much nicer stuff in their sales, often also 75% off or even better in some cases!

Will we bother again next year? Who are we kidding, of course we will- assuming we have got through this year's stash of course!

I reckon the odd new bits that are turning up in the boots stores are returns...

......and to the person with the huge chocolate stash.....problem, what problem, LOL!! :rotfl: :rotfl: Yum yum! Take it back to flipping Boots, cheapsters!

EDIT - This reference to cheapsters is BOOTS for putting short eat by dates,not us Bootsters for shopping in the sales - not sure how you would read it that way but certainly no offence intended!! .......slinks off to the Body Shop BOGOF thread and removes Boots thread from favourites.....

FIRSTLY!!!! l dont have a HUGE stash of chocolate its 2 boxes..... secondly l never said its a problem and thirdly how dare to call fellow bootsers cheapsters
just because your order never turned up and boots messed you around dont make the rest cheapsters!!!! you want to careful about what you type because l found your remarks very rude!!!!!!

due to pick up my parcel from my local store today but had no email or text. ONline my order STILL says being processed so rang up cs again who had to ring the store. Store said my parcel was there just that they hadnt booked it into the system, PHEW!!!! off I go to get my second dose of goodies.

Strange thing happened...

Received an email to say my order had been despatched yesterday. No mention of it been a partial despatch.

Just received another email to say the same order has been despatched.

Checked my account and each item is listed twice, but the total is the original total. Very confused.
