Does anyone have any more news about boots taking away their advantage card points or reducing them? I read on one of the Boots threads that people have hadtheir points reduced and was hoping someone vould shed some light. I ask because when I bought some clearance bis the other day my pints didn't seem as high as I thought the were.

The last twice I've put my advantage card into a machine I've had no offers at all, which seems strange. I wonder if Boots are targetting people who use too many extra points vouchers.

I was surprised yesterday when I updated my card. I had collected throughout the year and had over £50 yet the machine said the balance was only £15. The assistant said there was no way of tracking and I must find a receipt showing my higher points balance. Most disappointed!

Have you checked your advantage card online to see if it says the same? Or if it says that the points have been deducted?

asked a couple of sa,s yesterday when will the 75% sale start they were very shifty,one said there wasnt going to be one this year because of the economy,the other sa winked and said i will let you know when i hear anything...odd thing is theres more stock in store now than on boxing day.................not sure what is going on but there is deffo something amiss.

same thing with me i have had no offers the last 3 times ive checked...boo.

It only tells me the same as in the store - the number of points, when points were last added or any points removed. I could do with seeing a statement as you get with a bank account to see what the year started like and any movements in or out. Any ideas anyone? Has Boots robbed me?

Have you used a parents code because Mr B has in the past frozen a/cards, taken away points or revoked the card if the person wasn't entitled to use the code.:o
I have not had any offers this year either but assumed Mr B was too busy preparing for the 75% sale :cool: I am now wondering if he might be too busy counting his profits:(
