Boots 75% off sale - possible date

I have been to my local store today and still 1/2 price. I had a look as I did on Wednesday and nothing looks to have sold. Stacks of the gold GOK cases plus pretty much everything that was there on Weds.

I then went to WHSmith and bought some really nice crackers for £1.99, onto Claires and bought 10 items for £10 got some really nice bits. Then went to Accessorize and bought a few items in the 70% off, so now I'm not so desperate for the Boots sale.

In my mind Boots isn't such a bargain at 50% as before Christmas with 3 4 2 it's already around 30% off the price. I will only buy at 75% and looking at my local most people seem to think the same way at the mo.
I personally wouldn't have paid the full price for the GOK case not to my taste and looking at the strictly it's overpriced, probably the reason why there are so many left.

Sorry to ramble but fed up with Boots now and may have to start shopping elsewhere - I have been a loyal customer over the years. Will try out Superdrug next time I need anything and use Debenhams for perfume as they now have a loyalty card.

I think people are losing it abit it's just a sale when it starts it starts I bought some stuff at 50% soap and glory things am i stopping the sale going a head????

After visiting the flagship branch in oxford st today Im not even going to bother- as the SA said to me, its only the stuff people dont want. There was around 30 hat boxes, 1 small row(both sides) Mark Hill, linx,cards, money boxes etc.. and one the same of childrens toys and boxes of sweets etc.. Unless they will ship in more stuff its going to be a big anticlimax I did ask the dredded question and he replied, he gets the impression itl be end of Jan- they havent been told it will be any time soon..

Bath seems to be consolidating their 50% sale items into just a few rows. Quite a few hat boxes but nothing I really want.

On a slightly different topic - when I put my card in to add on recent points, the amount was far, far lower than I expected. The assistant said there was no way of tracking points unless I could find a recent receipt showing my points. I'm sure I had well over £50 quid yet its only showing £15 and I haven't used them. Any advice?

I was back in Speke earlier and it looks like they have all the same stuff they had on Monday. Literally hundreds of Strictly cases - at a guess I'd say 2 or 300 - dozens of Fearn hat boxes, loads of stuff like wash bags, food and drink gifts, crackers, some FCUK and No 7 sets that were way overpriced to begin with, for men there was Religion, Hacket, FCUK, for kids there was hundreds of Buzz Lightyear and Waybuloo PJ cases, Hello Kitty stuf....... phew, that's just what I can remember from the top of my head. Nobody was buying any of it, so I just wonder what is going to happen to it all if they don't reduce again!!!

They made my card invailed so i couldnt use my points i have £41 something on mine. I would email them asking why you had £50 and now you only have £15. Saying that my mum had £34. on hers and only has £12 on hers now... Going to ring her now!! :mad::mad: HAS MR BOOTS BEEN STEALING PEOPLES POINTS FOR HIS OWN SALE?? :eek::eek:

There are only 383 items in the sale on line (some of these are showing as sold out). There were 473 items yesterday.

Boots sale was the 20th last year so hopefully will be the same this year

It was scheduled for the 13th last year and was only postponed to the 20th because of all the snow.
