  • Evening!

Living Room all shiny and gleaming.

    Downstairs Bathroom sparkles.

Upstairs bathroom sparkles. I need different flooring in there, as it is anti slip lino and it holds onto stains like nothing I have ever seen before. Any suggestions for the easiest flooring?

Cats' nasties tray emptied, cleaned, refilled and decorated by furry beggar within 10 seconds of it being put back on the floor. Will be encouraging furry beggar to utilise the garden come spring. With my boot. :D

Landing has acquired my filing cabinet. 'Tis a layover point before it completes its migration into my bedroom, but another furry beggar thinks it's ideal for sitting on to observe goings on down the stairs.

Kitchen spotless. Engineer came and said he needed to order a switch for the non working oven. Heaven knows how long that's going to take. I shall telephone the repair line Monday morning, just to make sure it has been ordered.

Moved bookcase into edge of dining area, where it looks much smarter (and makes the living room look larger) and is handy as it contains mostly cookery books, anyway.

Now vegetating downloading music whilst being informed by DD my French is nowhere near as good as her. Of course, she hasn't had to feed herself and a bloke in Paris and spend a heck of a lot of money on clothes and make up (and flirt with old guys running market stalls to get cheaper veggies :A). But what would I possibly have learned that would help?

    :j:j:j:j:j:jI have running water :j:j:j:j:j:j

It came back on last night. With great force too. We had three drowned bathrooms and the back porch had a massive fountain in it.

Who turned on the shower and left it pointing over the bathroom?:rotfl::rotfl: Probably someone who is now away at uni:rotfl:

I am going to rejoin you and will be doing some catch up over the weekend. We were without running water for 19 days! Our councillors are looking into the problem as we weren't alone.

had a shower this morning then a bath with a shower rinse (due to enthusiastic application of lotions'n'potions) tonight in honour of my clean sheets

have been to comet (or curry's - as far as I am concerned they are interchangeable, having said that I wasn't the member of my family who bought something from Curry's and went to Comet for help with it because he couldn't make it work) no I've been to Curry's looking at TV wall stands for my bargainous TV ...and nearly fainted at the price - nearly as much as I paid for the TV (I got two s/h HD ready 32" flat screen TVs on new Years Day for £75 each) anyway there's one in argos (I hate it in there but am compelled, as a moneysaver, to use it) for a MUCH better price so might eb going there tomorrow.

Both kids should be at their dad's tomorrow so some P&Q to do some Planning and prep, since MSE towers have decided to help me in my quest by closing the forum so I ain't distracted...
and I've done Dusty's puzzle so that won't interfere with my busy day

and JOJOthetightfisted - cat are clean they like to poop in clean trays - if you think what your puddy tat did is ridiculous mine watched me de-poop the back garden - then went SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAWN AND RE-POOPED IT

Are you within travelling distance of a Richer Sounds, Valli? They offer a bracket for under a tenner in stores.

Or a Clas Ohlson shop? So do they.
