  • Afternoon!

    So, today, we have been mostly;

Struggling around getting the little boy next door a 1st birthday present, and myself & DD some CD-Rs.

DD has been deposited next door and is currently tucking into vast quantities of chicken and rice.

The Bloke is rectifying his installation of new wiper arms and rack in the car. He is still being made to suffer in silence for declaring that he knew what he was doing, and I couldn't possibly have a clue what was wrong when the wipers went the wrong way. But when he opened the bonnet to see the rack had indeed twisted around 180 degrees, as I had suggested - that felt GOOD :D

I shall have to take a wander out later as we are out of teabags and bread, but until then, I am enjoying the P&Q with a snoring cat, a cuppa made with the last teabag, and the stereo as I am going through some new scores, whilst the TD rumbles away in the kitchen.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • Afternoon all :)

Had a bit of a crappy day yesterday - OH's cold has finally caught up with me, so after the school run I spent most of the day crashed out on the sofa :(
So, I've got a list of about 25 things (I'll post it later) to cross off before tomorrow night, and no motivation! Argh.

i am back on form. I have almost finished the kitchen which needed a really good going over. We tried to keep it clean but standards drop when you are having to carry water into the house.

DD, the dog & I are currently on the sofa snuggling under a blanket :D
DH is messing around upstairs in our bedroom moving plug sockets  while the wallpaper is off. And my dear old Dad is lighting the fires in the snug & sitting room, after his nap. I LOVE lazy Saturdays!

The only flying I'm doing today is washing, drying & ironing. Trying to keep upstairs tidy is not working at the moment as everything from our room is spread over the spare room & landing. I did clean out all the animals this morning & tidy up the greenhouse.

Hope everyone is ok, esp toots, Diva, LL & LW

    Hi everyone,
Hope everyone's well, and hugs to the poorlies and those having difficult times in their lives.

Got some lovely material, some of it bought in Italy, and havn't looked at it since we came back from honeymoon nearly three years ago! (I was using sewing as a displacement activity pre wedding!) Just cleaned through some of my craft boxes, and found it all again. :-)
Done my dailies, and we're off on a skip run with some old computer equipment and gubbins once DH has sorted it out, so less house clutter.

  • Hya all,
Done a little flying. Not managed level 1 yet. But going to keep trying. Still feeling a little flat with postChristmasitis. Still every little makes a difference.
Hopefully will do better next week, Silver x

    Afternoon all

Really windy here so I've washed the cat beds and got them drying on the line
Cleaned out the inside of the car (DS3 helped) and have brought all the mats in to dry by the AGA as they were damp from so many soaking wet feet.

Squash done, all boys tetchy and tearful/angry today which is unusual so I hope none are coming down with something.

Just making a cup of tea and then I want to see if I can get 15 minutes of tidying in the side shed done so I've space to stack my new pots.
