I agree! I am exactly the same.
SA - you are bound to have days like that and who better to share them with.
The nicer weather has certainly put me in better spirits - its great to see the horses without rugs at last. The little JRT loves lying out in the sun and all the washing is on the line.
Hope you have a nice day x0 -
Hi SA, I am still about
have been keeping up with your diary, really glad you are enjoying your job, makes the world of difference doesn`t it? Keep the optimism going as it really brightens up a lot of peoples day when they see someone so positive, pity it something you can`t bottle and sell! Also like to read SW `s posts they really make me smile, anyway got to run, be back later:)

Oooh you have a nice avatar, less scary. Hooray for dojo. Hey my friend WilliamD1964 is taking up Tai Chi, he found it exhausting last night. I am not 100% sure what it is other than you need to do complicated things and it sounds a bit martial artish. Mr Dojo, do you know anything about it? can you offer him any tips? He will persist 'cos that's the sort of person he is but any advice would be great. Huge thanks, sw.

Hi guys,
Thanks for popping up and reassuring me that you are all still around :T I am glad you think I am positive - sometimes I wonder.
What glorious weather we are having - I took MrT out for too long at lunchtime and didn't have enough time left to get anything to eat. I had to eat chocolate all afternoon to keep goingwhich isn't as fabulous as it might seem. It gets a bit boring after a while (for me anyway) I am looking forward to a decent meal tonight - it is in the oven as we speak. I think I am going to crash tonight, I feel quite weary - I will make sure that I dont fall asleep on the sofa as that seems to put paid to a decent nights sleep afterwards.
Just averted a mini disaster in the washing machine - one of the wires from a bra got stuck in the drum and was making a god awful noise. MrT was beside himself not knowing what to bark at and where. Yes I know I am not supposed to wash underwired bras in the machine but I am a lazy so and so and chuck it all in - that shows me.
I am going to treat myself to spending £25 in Matalan on Thursday as I have a HA meeting in the same town and then will just mosey along and find a couple of nick nacks for my kitchen - what bliss!
I just love it in there - they have such nice quirky things.
Before next winter I want to get one of those electric fires that have pebbles in to go on my lounge wall - mainly for effect. mr T loves the flickering flames. The local osteopath always has little displays in his window using a skeleton and one of them had the skeleton hoovering in front of a little fire and MrT had to stop and look every time we passed. He would stand on his back legs and look in the window which really amused everyone passing by. He can be so sweet. Anyway, back to the plan - I have got 2 Amazon vouchers due from surveys and then I can put them towards getting one from Amazon. They are very reasonable.
Off now to eat, read and sleep - aching a bit from sitting all day and then walking lots this evening. I hope everyone is well and enjoying the spring weather.
Hugs

Hey i have acquired some of your joie de vivre, i am jumping on my mini-trampoline. Only 10 mins so far but i will get back into skinny jeans if it kills me. After today it probably will.
I like buying things for housey but dont go out shopping often enough now which is a good thing for me. Aesop has a degree on washing machines she had a nightmare with her old one. Well done on discovering what was wrong.
I have a cool gas fire with that cute flame effect it is very hypnotic!!!
oooh back to jogging back in 5.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
MINI TRAMPOLINE!!!!!!! I am speechless.
Well I did fall asleep last night on the sofa and then spent the night tossing and turning.... typical. I feel exhausted now and I am pleased that this is the last day at work this week. I could do with a couple of easier days to try and get back into a sleep routine that actually makes me feel refreshed.
It is going to be a lovely day again - I must try not to overwalk MrT at lunchtime - don't like tummy rumbles!
Have a good day folks....

Good Morning everyone - SA is back on top of the world :j
Muy positivo .... and you know why?
1) The sun is shining - that improves my mood by 100%
2) Finished main job for the week.... back on Monday
3) Got a few pennies to spend in Matalan today - hooray
4) Got lots of choccie to send to my grandkids - they will be pleased
5) My new "close the gate" sign has arrived! MrT and I can fix that later. The old one got broken in the wind damage melee!
Off to feed the ducks shortly as MrT is nagging me to get a bit of sun on his back and apparently that can't be achieved by being in the garden on his own. Anything for a quiet life.
I have got a HA meeting this afternoon for a couple of hours. I have also got a couple of days training with them at the beginning of April - I have been given annual leave from work so that works out OK.
From Monday I start 6 weeks of full time at work. I have decided to ring the HB office and ask them what the best way is to "report" it to them. I don't want them paying me HB that they then take back later on when my earnings have dropped back again. In an ideal world I would like to increase my hours to at least 30 or even 35 a week so that I can claim WTC and have a regular, steady income. I think I will mention it at my 3 month review. They are advertising a couple of jobs at the moment so there may be room to move within the company to find hours that suit me.
I have done some really interesting surveys in the last week - I am about to start filling in a cleaning diary that goes on for 2 weeks - that will sort my obsessive natureand I am getting 3 grapefruits to try!!! Grapefruits in the post - whatever next?
Council tax bill has arrived - £715 to find over the next 10 monthsI have decided not to set up a d/d but try and pay it off in lump sums early. The local town hall is only a few minutes from my flat and so I can always pop in and pay some off. It is such a big chunk of my earnings each month that it depresses me every time I look at my budget figures. I am saving up the first £100 now.
No other big bills on the horizon until the car is due for its MOT and service in July so I have got a bit of a breathing space. I don't think it is going to be ultra expensive as I had a lot done last year when I got my redundancy money. Oh, I forgot - car tax in June too.
That is about it really, managed to sleep last night and after dropping off on the sofa again! MrT was snoring so loudly that my friend could hear him at the other end of a call! Little porker - he is going to have to go on a diet soon - too much of the good life and nicking bits of food off the street.
Speak later and let you know how the day went....
Have a good day

well done SA.
I lost internet access for 2 days so read on my phone but can't reply, it takes too long to get into mse.
I springcleaned my bedroom and DS' bedroom yesterday. Worth it, as I re-arranged his room so he has more room to play in it, and I think he likes it. Will have to move bed back in Winter though as it gets too cold. But he's got a few good months of playing room. Although if he is anything like last year will spend more time in garden and at park.
Shame we lost out on glorious weather yesterday, stuck in the house waiting for an engineer that got cancelled, without being notified! Couldn't play in garden as grass needs cutting and have our old washer dryer out there. need to tidy up garden too so DS can play safely out there.0 -
Oh what a shame Aesop. It was forecasted to be cloudy here but it has been lovely so far. I am looking forward to a happy day with my parents. I was so tired yesterday i kept sneaking off as i couldn't cope with people being in my house. It is official i am a hermit! Yuk will change it today.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
