No tips, the Irish always have a few secrets that have been tucked away - look at yesterdays results, 6 out of 7!

Big Bucks should win the World Hurdle - 3rd year running.... fantastic horse.

Did you hear on the news today that nearly 5000 Irish racehorses were put down last year for economic reasons? So, so sad. Mind you I have seen a few awful sights of T/Bs ending up in riding stables, or the sales, or chucked out in a field without rugs - makes me want to weep at how callous we can be in the UK - so called animal lovers. :(

I will enjoy my walk, I know.

Well done on chest Freezer purchase! one day I will have one.

Don't worry about not posting, sometimes we spend too much time on mse, lol, but only because it is like seeing your friends, in real life, except we see them virtually.

Hope nothing wrong with your car. For the computer skills, is it just how they use the computer or is it things like word, excel?

As you can do something called the European Computer Driving Licence - usually free, will see if I can find a link and will post.

At work they were asking my qualifications and although am a whizz with excel I can't prove it as self taught. I don't have "a piece of paper" that says I am qualified!

    Hi Aesop,

Thanks for that - I have actually seen the ECDL - my GP mentioned it about 18 months ago. My basic skills are OK. I am just a bit laborious in figouring things out whereas the youngsters are just so dextrous, brought up on texting you see... can't have a one to one conversation but whizz with IT. Swings and Roundabouts, I suppose :)
I am so creaky - took MrT out for nearly 2 hours and then decided to tidy the garden following the repairs yesterday. The garden looks great but I can't move!!!!! Taken a double whammy ibuprofen - let's hope that frees the joints up a bit, or I shall have to remain on the sofa for the rest of the afternoon and evening... what a pain :)
Sun has gone in but it was good while it lasted... roll on Spring
    Hugs

Hi SA, great that you are still so upbeat about things :) Sounds like you have overdone it in the garden, so easy I know, once you start you don`t know when to stop, hope the aches and pains don`t last too long :)

ECDL is a good qualification to have, if you need a qualification. If you don't, I'd just concentrate on learning the things you need to. Am I right in remembering that you are not in an office now, but are more front-line?

I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.

I think I am going to have to do my ECDL - will have to find out if my local college still does it for free. As we a training company, we have to prove our qualifications by showing pieces of paper saying we are qualified to do things rather than just saying it.
