Oh - and there was me thinking dojoman was dojofemale - which of us is right?
dojo - where are you?
update... my wine was lovely, but how strange.... MrT is playing up and wants to play with new squeaky hot dog toy endlessly, mainly by shoving it in my face... I don't think he likes me having a drink, he is normally sparko by now.
I am also a bit wobbly about ex - thank goodness phones are safely locked away in the car and bar frightening the neighbours with my old pj's I can't ring him.....says something about my priorities when vanity comes above heartstrings.....
Roll on tomorrow when it is all back to normal - I don't like weekends, much prefer Mon - Fri.
Aesop - glad you solved the problem.
Enjoy your evening everyone.

Very cold, frosty morning here - am going to take MrT for a long walk before work to blow the cobwebs and ex thoughts away...

Hi everyone...
Just couldn't find the time to write in my diary yesterday. Lots of walking in the sunshine and cooking dinner and then I just sort of collapsed on the sofa, TV watching.
The new job continues to go well and the training is nice and steady, I don't feel pressured at all.
I have noticed that a couple of the survey firms are slowing up a bit with crediting my account for completed ones - I shall have to keep an eye on that because there have been one or two better paying ones..... hmmm
I have asked "my" mechanic to have a look at my car on Friday. It is probably me being paranoid but I am sure there is a bit of a rumbling noise. He thinks it is just tyre and road noise but I always feel safer for him to check. He can replace the bulb that has blown AGAIN - it is over £200 to replace the whole lamp unit so I just keep changing bulbs and hope that I am only going to drive in light conditions.
The fence and gate are still waiting to be repaired, they did say within 7 days so that gives me until Thursday before I start to kick as*. It is quite secure so I am not too bothered.
I have got a voucher for extra Nectar points so back to in store shopping this week - I don't really need a great deal so it is a perfect oportunity to buy the half price kitchen scales and bump up the total to qualify for the points. Plans, plans, plans.
A week free of HA training but 2 days next week to make up for it. I am taking a half day from work on Monday - that was arranged at my interview so all is cool.
It looks like I may be able to get my new cooker within a few weeks - my outgoings have gone right down and moving the direct debits back has freed up some £££ . I have found a good offer at the same online firm that I got my ffreezer from - I hope it is still there when I have got the cash together and they are free delivery toobonus.
That's all for now - off to do the pre-breakfast walk with MrT.

hi SA,
glad the job is going well. The weather was glorious yesterday - perfect for dog walking and duck feeding although today where I am its a bit gloomy again.
Hope nothing serious with the car - you just dont need that right now.
Enjoy the rest of your week

Hooray.... no work today :T
The job continues to go well - I still feel like such a newbie though and everyone seems so... well... youngwith these amazing computer skills - I will get it together!
Used some points vouchers and stocked up on the food stores. I can't believe how much money I am saving after getting my fridge freezer. It cost me £200 delivered and I have halved my weekly food shop ever since. I can also have treats like ice creams that I obviously couldn't buy before - it is yummy. I got a corn fed free range chicken this morning from MrS on offer - that will do for at least 3 dinners and MrT perked up considerably when he did his normal perusal of the shopping before it was put away.
He can have his long walk this morning as I want to watch Cheltenham on the TV this afternoon, my first chance this week. It is weird because that has been my job for the last 7 years and it doesn't feel right not to be able to see the festival. Today and tomorrow will make up for it though.
My new fave programme is on tonight - Monroe - completely hooked after just one episode. 9pm ITV - thoroughly recommended.
My fence and gates were mended yesterday while I was at work - it was a lovely surprise to get home and not only find it repaired but what a great job they did as well. I had typed a sheet up for them and fixed it to the fence panel explaining where everything was broken and needed to go (anal, or what?) and they have done it all beautifully. I was so pleased I rang the repair department and asked them to thank the guys as I know a little gratitude can mean a lot. In social housing it is always a gamble on how good and efficient repairs are and on this occasion 100% definitely. No more trips into next doors garden for MrT.
Lots of surveys to do - anyone else getting loads? I have had 3 in the last 10 days that have paid £4 so that is good, and one pays a £10 Amazon voucher at the end of a weeks survey as well.
My car is being looked at tomorrow by the "car doctor" who has been a friend of the family for years. I can trust him to only do something if it is actually neccessary. I am sure I can hear a noise - he thinks it is tyre/road noise but I would be happier if he checked it - let's hope it isn't anything - just my paranoia!
I feel a bit of a stranger on the board these days - I am just so tired after I get home that I just collapse. Perhaps when i get my notebook - item no 2 on the wish list - I will be more active with my posts. I miss the banter.
Not too much to say - the sun is just coming out now and it looks like we are in for a good day.
Speak soon
Hugs
