We all get highs and lows and can both empathise and understand when things have taken a turn for the worse. I have good health, my own hair and teeth and most of the time my brain functions correctly.I just need to chill and learn to take things a little easier. I am a so and so for beating myself up.
I have got my fingers crossed for you in the days and weeks to come. Have a big MSE hug....

Good luck with the GP tomorrow. If you feel you need a break from work, then you probably do - maybe do some voluntary work involving people in the meantime though, or it will be even harder to get back to the workplace?
It's a shame you can't get registry cleanups for people, isn't it? I think such a program would go into overload and crash if it tried cleaning up me. But I do rather like the thought of pressing a button and becoming less sluggish and more efficient. And an anti-virus program to make me a nicer person. And most definitely a file compressor to squeeze in a few bits ... make that a state-of-the-art file compressor as there are quite a few bits that need compressing.
Enjoy your lazy day. What sort of things might you make to sell at car boots?"Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -
Wordsmith, I love the idea of a registry clean up for me!
SA, I was going to say what SW said. Write down everything you want to tell the dr but are worried you won't remember/can't. Or better still take this diary along and show it to them. Then they can see how serious you are.
Well done on all your cooking and freezing. I went to L!dl today and have tried to be smart with buying all the meat for the week, am hoping that some of it can be stretched to a second week too. Am going to have to look at OS for ideas on making the meat go further. Problem I have is DH doesn't always eat at work even though I make his sandwiches, so comes home starving and eats what 2 people would eat.
I still want to get a FF or a chest freezer, as we still only have ice box. Don't think we can push LL to get that as well, because he needs to sort out damp in house too.
But hoping with smart shopping, I can manage to reduce my food bill for the month.
Did well today went to boots and they had shower gels on for 99p reduced from £1.99, and I managed to print 5 vouchers for 1/3 off any shower gel or bath foam. So 5 shower gels for 32p each! :j:
Got DH 2 lynx aftershave from Superdrug yesterday for £9.99, saving £2.25, and at Nettos got Douwe Egbert Coffee, big jar, for £6, but it was on BOGOF!
So have done some smart shopping this weekend.
Sorry, don't mean to take over your thread. Maybe I should start my own diary or a blog....0 -
oh and forgot to say have you asked Mr 3Dogs or 3Dogs for advice about Car Boots? As they do them and think Mr 3Dogs is doing quite well.:D0

Morning everyone,
Busy day yesterday... after I saw my GP (more to follow) I decided to spring clean my flat and for 3 hours moved furniture around, vaccuumed carpets that had been left for far too long  and tidied everything up. Very achy afterwards but pleased with the result.
I explained to my GP about my anxiety in the workplace or when I feel I am being judged (like the Jobcentre) and she thinks that it is one of those behaviours that go round and round in a circle, getting worse and worse. She agrees that my psychologist is the best person to keep on helping with it but has given me a prescription for beta blockers, thinking that if I have got an iffy day (like signing on) then I can take one and it should slow things down a bit. I am not sure how I feel about taking them. My psychologist is very anti medication (in my case) - I am seeing him next week so I will hold off until I have had another meeting with him.
I got a phone call yesterday from a company that I applied to a couple of months ago for a customer services job. They have got another opening and she asked me a few questions as to whether I was still interested and would I consider part time. I don't know what will come of that but I am adamant that this time I will only seek or accept a job that is RIGHT FOR ME and not anything that should come up. My life, my health and my income.
I made the big mistake of falling asleep on the settee last night, awoke, went to bed, read a book for an hour, and didn't sleep a wink all nightI ended up getting up at 5.45am - I will pay for that later.
Thanks for all the tips guys.... I have now been accepted for 3 one day courses with my HA - Interviewing Skills, becoming a Tenant Inspector (like a mystery shopper) and HA Finance. That is as well as my Tenants Fed stuff and the Communications Forum that I belong to. Lots to look forward to. I really like the idea of learning even at my middle age.
One of my friends in the Carribbean has been in hospital for the weekend with flu compications. They have got a very bad strain of it over there at the moment and many people are dying. I caught it when I was there in September and just about got home. I had to be passed fit to fly and it then took me at least 6 weeks to get over it once back here, and that is with our good food and medication. They are so poor over there, having the same economic problems as us, cannot afford medication and many of them only eat once a day, it is tragic. Luckily, he is strong and was discharged yesterday morning and is now resting at home. We spoke for about an hour, a chance for me to use my SpanishI will keep in touch and make sure he is OK. In case you are wondering - I have a special tariff on my phone that gives me cheap calls and then gives me 240 free minutes each month so it doesn't work out too bad at all. I suppose it is my only vice.
A day with nothing on the agenda beckons. If the weather stays dry I will tidy the garden and potter about. Another NSD. They are definitely more and more these days - I am thrilled, and there seems to be so much more food in the flat since I got the ffreezer, or am I imagining it?
Have a good day everyone and thank you all for looking out for me over the last couple of weeks during my iffy spell. I am feeling much better.

I have the day off too today. I am now realising to take it a bit at a time and not to exhaust myself but i have a mountain of things to do.
I would like to work in customer services i think. You can help people and make friends plus you get paid. As steve, andy, susan were here we went for a walk in Southsea and i always think one day i would love to work in John Lewis because of the discount!!! I dont think it pays very well but the perks would be fab.
You take your time SA, what you have been through is traumatic and would have made anyone ill. Just chill for a while and when you feel it is right then dip your toe in the water. Am off to have breakfast.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
