Glad its not just me.Its more running through the day in my head and thinking about how im going to pan it out the day before with dropping stuff to the venue.
No im glad i have everything done, its just like i say running stuff through my head, thinking how the day will go etc. Then like i say if its not that its work stuff.I cant seem to switch off.
I have some sleepeze from boots so if it continues will start using them, used to take nytol which were good but to pricey lol
Im sure u will get there soon,Is there no one who can help?0 -
Moreofthegoodstuff, i rarely wear make up,infact the only time i do is on a night out which is rare,im doing my own,ive had a practice with different foundations, got samples, taken pictures and see what looks the best, most department stores are really helpful and do a colour match, clarins did my whole face up and if u pa £15 they will do your wedding make up on the day which is redeemable against any of there products.worth a think if your not happy with the trial, keep it on all day and see how it lasts and get someone to take pics of u from different angles to see how it looks in different lights, some foundations make u look ghostly. HTH
All we have left to do is the table plan and get the sweets for the sweet buffet and my two little girls last fitting
Thanks Hollie! I think I might go straight to boots/body shop straight after the trial if it doesn't go very well! I went in today and the make up artist changed an appointment for me and I noticed her make up was very natural and nice so I'm hoping it will go fine!
At the moment the only thing that concerns me is that my skin seems to be really dry  taking steam room sessions every two days, applying moisturiser and face packs every night but still dry skin rahhh!!0 -
Have u tried e45 cream? i suffer with dry skin but e45 works for me or there is aqueous cream that is quite good aswell0

Yeah that's what I have been using but it almost feels like it's burning my skin! I'm gonna switch to cocoa butter tonight and see how I get on with that and fingers crossed!0

Old - bra
New - Dress & everything else
Borrowed - nothing yet
Blue - my sister gave me a garter with a blue blow!
bifi - borrow a blue garter from someone! - you can have mine if you like after I've finished with it on the 2nd!
** 2 WEEKS! OMG OMG OMG!!! *runs around like a scaredy chicken* **
Thanks for the offer! I've already got an ivory garter to match my new underwear- have now decided to tie a blue ribbon around the handmade origami bouquets - this will be cheap and easy!
I was also thinking of asking family to lend me a pound for the day as the borrowed item?!
Old is my favourite pair of heels - I can walk or dance in them for hours without getting sore feet and they look fab too! My Mum keeps trying to persuade me to buy hideous high heels but I'd rather stick with what I know I can walk in!
New is my dress.
Thanks for sharing your ideas0 -

Have you tried Avene products? You can get them from big Boots stores. I have very sensitive skin and Avene usually calms my skin irritation - they have a skin recovery cream that my girlfriend swears by (she has sensitive and dry skin). It could be that the steam isn't helping - the heat can sometimes make things worse?
Having said that cocoa butter may also help. Good luck with it.
I'm having a break out of acne at the moment
Not impressed. I think I'll be doing lots of face packs for the next few weeks in the hope that it'll calm down for the big day.0 -
bifi, I will try out the cocoa butter but if no good I will try out the Avene stuff, I am willing to try anything! I just did a search on steam rooms and I think you're right about it not helping, it says it can dry out the skin so I shall stop using them until after the wedding!
I'm also having acne break out, I think it's the stress, I feel like I'm doing well with everything but it must be there inside! Luckily it's not lack of sleep because I can't get enough of it at the moment. So if it's not dry skin it's small spots popping up on my back and the odd one on my face....Just what I need!!! :P0 -
Moreofthegoodstuff, try the cocoa butter but dont forget its rather thick so may clog your pores,i did try this and when i went for a facial i was also told the same, can make your skin a little oily to but may work for u even if it hasnt worked for others.good luck o and stay clear of facials closer to the wedding will open all your pores and u will have an outbreak.0

I am quite serene now
(compared to a few weeks ago)
Today I went to see our Vicar who is also a friend as I am a Christian (although not a very good one) and it was very calming to talk through the dedication ceremony & re-focus on what was the core meaning of this day - us together as husband & wife.
I am currently making the CDs for the Register Office & the Church and feeling very emotional (in a nice way! blub!)
