Looking at engraved glasses at the mo for ushers & groomsman, but would like more for the best man

Less than 4 weeks now for us, yaaaaaay, I'm so excited!

Had my hen party at the weekend and managed to get away with not drinking, thanks to my very creative bridesmaids who insisted on feeding me 'special cocktails' most of the night. The weekend was great, lovely to have all my friends in one place.

When I got home, OH revealed he has written a poem for one of our readings... but he won't let me see it until the day. Hmmmmmm.

Credit_crunch. i bought each of the men a pair of personalised socks saying groom,best man etc,i also bought them all ivory cufflinks saying there role,my dad i also got an engraved pocket watch and OH has a little selection of bits in a box which consists of mini bottle of jack daniels and mini cans of coke to help the nerves on the morning,his socks will go in there,ive made a scroll with a poem on,another piece of paper has our first dance lyrics on it,some mints and for the night before i got him a t-shirt which says 'game over' with a bride and groom on it lol

Im off out sat for a meal and boogie in our local town for my 2nd hen do/birthday celebrations.thought it easier to mix it into one.im really looking forward to it.
my mum and dad are coming next wed's for his last suit fitting and we have our rehearsal at the church on the 6th

Hi everyone,
Sounds like all plans are coming into place!
I still feel like I have loads to do though, eeeek! we moved house 2 weeks ago and things are still in a state and I have no idea where half the wedding stuff is lol.
I still have to:
- confirm we actually have a band!
- no hairdresser as cancelled on me, so have a trial run with my mum to see what she can do!
- book make up trial at shop counter
- buy wedding underwear!
- decide on a first dance
- teach OH how to dance!
- decide on a church reading for my mum
- finish buying the childrens outfits
- make place names
- make a table plan board
- sort out the cake! (sister plans to make.....)
- make a play list for when the band is on breaks
- make my bouquet
- finish off the table centerpeices
Omg that sounds a lot, esp as I'm chaning jobs next week as well - note to other, moving house, changing jobs and weddings do not go well together!!!!!
At least we still have 4 weeks to go!

We are still waiting for our dj to come round,getting a bit impatient with him now,he said he may come tues (just gone) but never did.his partner asked us to send our list but TBH i want to meet with him,dont want to just meet on the day.
Need to get the buffet sweets next week aswell and send our cd's and voile to the venue (its 40mins away) as she wanted them a week before.omg cant believe its 2 weeks fri

hows things? Ive just ordered the mens gifts from ebay - cufflinks & engraved glasses :-)
got a phone call to say we can pick up our marriage schedule from the council office but we need to bring our ID. Ive just realised I cant find my passport! Hoping my mum still has it from my hen weekend!
Hair trail 2moro night, then we will have to put our favours together.
Had 2 ppl ring to say they now cant make the reception, so adjusting table plan etc accordingly!
