    Hello,
Just wondering what other people are doing for the something old, new, borrowed and blue?
Mostly struggling on the borrowed and blue items!
Would love to know what others have chosen?

    Old - bra
New - Dress & everything else
    Borrowed - nothing yet
Blue - my sister gave me a garter with a blue blow!

bifi - borrow a blue garter from someone! - you can have mine if you like after I've finished with it on the 2nd! :D

** 2 WEEKS! OMG OMG OMG!!! *runs around like a scaredy chicken* **

Three weeks tomorrow for us too *starts to panic*
  • LOL - calmed down a bit now!

Crowdpleaser - thanks for the idea of borrowing earrings, I might have to raid my mum's jewellery box this weekend :D
  • Two weeks to go for me on Saturday and I'm totally calm and relaxed which is not like me AT ALL, I'm normally the biggest worrier!!

What do you all have left to do? I just have a couple of presents to buy, some thank you cards, and sorting out my tan and also finding some hair pictures for the hairdressers.

The only thing I'm slightly nervous about is the hair and make up trial as I'm not a big make up wearer so hoping it looks good as I haven't left myself much time to get anything else sorted. Eeeek. I said I wasn't worried but the worry is coming over me again!

Moreofthegoodstuff, i rarely wear make up,infact the only time i do is on a night out which is rare,im doing my own,ive had a practice with different foundations, got samples, taken pictures and see what looks the best, most department stores are really helpful and do a colour match, clarins did my whole face up and if u pa £15 they will do your wedding make up on the day which is redeemable against any of there products.worth a think if your not happy with the trial, keep it on all day and see how it lasts and get someone to take pics of u from different angles to see how it looks in different lights, some foundations make u look ghostly. HTH

All we have left to do is the table plan and get the sweets for the sweet buffet and my two little girls last fitting

Just be aware that the make up artist will probably trowel it on a bit. Its gotta be a bit over done or it wont look any good in camera lens!

Im plodding through everything every evening at the mo. Kinda looking forward to having some time back LOL! xxx

Yes! I have nights when it can literally take me hours to get to sleep, I am totally worn out and so so tired.
Sometimes having a notebook by my bed can help as if any wedding issues pop into my head, I can just write them down and forget about them til the morning. Having soothing music on at a quiet level also helps me relax enough to drop off.
Sometimes there seems to be no cure though and my head simply won't switch off and let me sleep :(
You should take comfort from the fact you are so well organised and have done the vast majority of your wedding prep already Hollie :) Certainly shouldn't stop you from sleeping. On the other hand I have tonnes left to do
