Hi all,we went over to the venue last night to discuss final details and pay the outstanding amount, she asked lots of questions. On the way home though i said to OH does it sound bad that i dont feel confident and want to type up requirments and forward them onto her to make sure?? ive typed up today but will send monday, i just want everything perfect and TBH not sure she wrote every single thing down like the fact we need a highchair as she never asked but was mentioned but didnt see her note it down. just little things that will make the difference on the day.dont think u can ever be to sure that it will be perfect unless u know u have wrote it down and given them a copy.least u can say it was asked if its not done

Hollie, our venue has a form with all kinds of questions on which the wedding coordinater made notes on and then emailed us, then we have been sending it back and forth with updates/more info etc. If she doesnt send you anything in writing I would definitely send her something!

I had my hair trial on Sat and it went well. I have stupid boring hair so was glad it worked out ok :j

Mine is v fine and almost shoulder length too. She curled it (I've never had curly hair before but loved it!) and then pinned some up at the back to give volume

Agree with the Crest Whitestrips, perfect for getting white teeth before a wedding! I managed to get some from xxxxxxxxxxxk as recommended review above, and they are brilliant. We are seeing a big difference for the big day! And for the price you can not go wrong.

Good luck all. Only a few months until i marry my girl so always reading up on hints/tips to make her life easier.. Good reading here :)

Reported as spam as poster has only posted three times , twice mentioning this web site that illegally sells whitening strips in the UK.
You may also want to look at threads on praise/warnings with less than positive reviews of this site. These threads were also spammed https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3656127

I have naturally curly/wavy hair & would love to have smooth, straight, shiny hair for a special day but it takes 45 mins with GHDs & then only lasts 6hrs!

Good luck ladies - I've got my trial booked on the 18th, then the lovely hairdresser is only charging me extra on the day for the petrol & time taken to travel to our house - so maybe about £40. Other hairdressers were charging up to £80 for a wedding day callout - simply because it was a wedding!

I am making my own floral combs & a simple net veil! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtYMT_lZL3c

    30 days to go.... :D

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry its been a while since i last posted. How are everyone's final preparations coming along? You all seem well prepared and organised! :)

Not long to go now, only 50 days left for me!! :)
Think we have most things sorted more or less! Sorted the flowers a couple of weeks ago when my mum was down visiting, booked the table for the meal, paid final balance on honeymoon and cake. Just need to sort a list of photo's we want, give the DJ our requested songs, give our buffet choice and the final numbers for our evening party (which we are havig the day after) but is hard when people don't reply or even give an inkling of if they are coming

    3 week Honeymoon in Florida 02/09/12 :j
  • I agree with Wiggers about the RSVP thingy - it seems to be totally random about who replies - sometimes the most usually well-mannered/posher people haven't even bothered to reply either way yet I've had beautiful cards & letters from people on a very low benefits income. As the old cliche goes: MANNERS COST NOTHING!

Good luck Ladies & Gents! - only 27 days to go for us....
