the majority of my invites are out - just a few more evening ones to do.
first dress fittings for BM is 25th June & mine is 30th June
    decided on our first dance
just need to get the order of service finalised.
if you are having a candle service at the church do you know who sets that up? is it the church or florist?
I have started making my place card settings, & doing rough drafts of table plans

    Hello everyone,
    Not long to go now!!!!
Got just over half my r.s.v.p's back now, still waiting on some people - everyone assumes they are coming but I kept telling them, if you dont reply on-line with your meal choices you wont get any food!
Got the silk and foam flowers for my bouquets -lilac and ivory roses with ivory cala lillies :) and made up the 'thank you' presents for my bridesmaids (collection of smellies, make up, chocolates, posh coffee - mostly all freebies! done up in organza and ribbon and look lovely if I do say so myself!)
Just sorting out my hair and make up now, had someone to do my hair but she backed out last week :( so frantically searching for someone else. Thinking I will probably do my own make up, but hair I am useless with!
Glad everyone elses plans seem to be coming together and hopefully everyones r.s.v.p's will start coming through a bit more now!
    xxx

Hippihaz hope u manage to find someone,im sure you will.cant believe the other person let u down
  • Glad you had a good hen weekend Hollie, I can't wait for mine! BMs have organised it as a suprise :j

With 9 weeks to go the diet has started in ernest - no more drinking/chocolate/cake/processed food between now and wedding (except hen weekend) :o

I am waiting for call from dress shop today, they said my dress would be in in June and so I called them yesterday but the woman wasn't much help. Apparently someone will call me back today.

Florist is now sorted, well I hope it is, she seemed a bit dizzy but said I can change my mind up to 1 week before so plenty of time to go through it again with her!

How is everyone else getting on?

Oh fab,i orgnised my own as my sister was selfish and expected everyone to go to ireland and be able to afford it! but anyway cardiff was brill.

Hope your dress will be in soon, how exciting.

Last dress fitting for me sunday, the girls dress sashes arrived yest, was stressing as i was hoping they would be the right gold which they are, phew.
I made the girls flower wands yest, just the top table spray to finish next week and mum and mil wrist corsage then thats that done.

Im actually bored with nothing to do

Hollie - just saw you went to Cardiff for your hen night - I'm having mine there this weekend :) I know Cardiff quite well, as live in Wales, but its definitely good for a night out (and cheap for us, as quite a few people are local) woohoo bring on the hen partiness!

Just back from first dress fitting. It needs the shoulders lifted and the length lifted. Pleased enough but dress is a low v neck and I am a little worried that the shoulders won't be lifted enough and my boobs will fall out!...but the dressmaker and mum said it will be ok, that I'm just being silly.

Also a bit raging as one of the bridesmaids thinks her dress is too tight, but it looks perfect on her! She is a tomboy and always wears baggy clothes so I think she is just not used to wearing something that is fitted! Just don't like to think of her not being comfortable...but I don't think she would ever be comfortable in a full length gown so I do think it's just her being her.

I had my hen last weekend and it was fab! The girls did a great job organising.

8 weeks to go on Saturday, so I need to really get going with the diet to make sure my skin looks good and my tummy is as flat as possible!

Ahhh feeling like a bit of a bridezilla tonight!
