My oh had an email from a colleague saying how lovely they thought our invites were :j:jSadly they didn't RSVP at the time lol, but so nice to get some positive feedback :D

We currently have 20 RSVP's outstanding- my invites were sent at the beginning of March, and the last of oh's went out last week. Hoping to get a few more in the next couple of weeks as I don't want to have to chase ppl for a response- it seems so rude to ignore an invitition and the thought of having to call ppl and ask if they are coming makes me cringe a bit.

Our confetti has arrived- I haven't seen it yet but oh says it is in the biggest box he has ever seen. Either it is very over packaged or I have done a massive miscalculation of how much we want!
Tiara i know what u mean about chasing people,we have had to chase 5 with 2 still not being sure if they will have the cash to afford to come and the other unsure if they can get a lift so have said i definetly need an answer before we pay the rest of the money to the hotel next month.

Soooo I have managed to order the wrong colour confetti :o
I have 20 boxes of orange rose petals that I have no use for :o:o
The yellow petals, which are the ones I meant to order in the first place, have now sold out :(
    And it's non-returnable :(

Oh no poor you! We can help look for yellow rose petals? What are your requirements? xx

Please can you let me know if they do work? I quite fancy whiter teeth for the wedding, but a previous make I used did not work very well so didn't want to spend money on another one that doesn't work.

Not long to go now ladies and gents! :j

Well today OH and I have finally decided on music/readings/words for our ceremony in August. I filled in the form for the Registrar with all the details and we went along and paid the final payment! £320!!:eek:

    too lol

Just been leafing through my new testament for our readings too - can't believe a church blessing is £260-odd !! that's before any bells/organ music etc (£100 each a pop so probably not) But the Register Office is "only" £119 altogether :rotfl:

I am getting a bit stuck on choosing a reading as I don't want the usuals (they don't really apply at our age & situation)

I got my OH to sort the rings with my assistance yesterday, very plain 9ct gold bands which cost less than budgeted (yay)

Invitations went out this past week and the acceptances are coming in... *gulp*
