HI
I was just wondering if the fellow August brides could help me and my Fianc! win our honeymoon. We get married on August 3rd and currently can't afford a honeymoon. We have moved back in with my parents to save for a house so some time away to start married life would be heaven.
All you need to do it click on the link and 'like' our photo. We are Claire & Andy

Hi everyone!!
Not long to go now!! Just an update from me really.
Invites have been sent out and we are slowly starting to get RSVP's back...have a feeling will have to chase some people!!
Last week we finally booked a photographer after umming and arring about having one, then fearing we'd left it to late!!
Our rings finally came back - 9 weeks later after being told it would be 10-15 working days!! Good job we got them sorted early on!
Honeymoon is all booked - just need to pay the final balance in about 8 weeks!
How is eveyone else's plan coming along? From reading previous posts everyone seems to be pretty organisedMrs S to be 23.08.12

Hi all, well i have done a draft today of my order of service, was easier than i thought.i originally wasnt going to have one but changed my mind,as us women do lol
I have had 22 people say there not coming to the wedding on the evening, starting to get to me a bit now.ive given everyone till the end of this month to RSVP but cant understand why most havent just sent them back virtually straight away, surely u know if u have something on the calendar.maybe its just me,think a chill pill is in order as im on one today.i think my flowers are at the sorting office as i had a card through yesterday but as its been chucking it down all day i have decided against going out and dragging the kids into the car to pick them up,its open till 8 this eve so will get OH to collect them, its either them or the oasis and trays ive ordered.0 -
I went off to see another florist who recommended by my daughter and feel much happier now.
No looking at tatty photo books with this florist!! - I had seen their website and also cut and paste a few pictures of bouquets, buttonholes and wrist corsages that I liked the look of from the internet.
The florist was really chatty and showed the kinds of flowers that were in the shop, gave names of others so I could look at them on the internet and gave ideas. I wasnt happy with wands but she suggested that we have pomanders with artificial flowers for the flowergirls because if they are turned into footballs!! (apparently this did happen at another wedding!!) and they are more robust if littluns bat 'em about!! and they can be made in colours to match our scheme and they can still be done to match the real flowers.
The fact that the flowergirls dont have their dresses yet nor yet even the colour they will be - was not a problem! Buttonholes - again lots of suggestions - different flowers suggested again - we could even have real flowers sprayed the colours we want if they are not available etc etc
Even my bouquet can be a small shower rather than the monstrosities that I have seen. No disrespect to anyone who has large flower sprays - they are just not me!!
Also our wedding invite was emailed to us for approval before we have a sample made up.
That applies to both our day and evening invites and she will mock up of an rsvp/catering choice too so that we can include them in the invites.
I am just waiting too for our cupcake samples to be delivered this week - after meeting last week with the cake person?!! (confectioner?!!) she will take on board our ideas and throw in few of her own suggestions!! I cant wait to see them ...... and eat them!!:rotfl:
Feel really excited!!:T
