Umm - just had a bit of a catch up on this thread and am worrying a bit. everyone seems to have sent their invites out already. We haven't even totally confirmed the guest list. :eek:

Thanks for posting this Hadley, I am exactly the same. Haven't ordered the invites yet and OH hasn't even written his guest list yet :eek::rotfl:Have been avoiding this thread as it makes me panic hugely at how far behind we are!

I found a template invite with apples and pears on Vistaprint the other day that made me think of you

we only sent ours so early as we're getting married on a bank holiday weekend in the school holidays - most of our guests have children so i dont want them to book any trips away and miss our wedding

if it makes you feel better i dont have a dress

We're getting married on the same weekend, so the same reasoning applies to use really! Oh well, we'll get the invites done at some point :rotfl:

Good luck with the dress hunt. Have you tried any on yet? Do you know what type of style you are looking for? I do have my dress but need to sort out getting it adjusted as it was a little too big around the bust. Admittedly this was when I last tried it on around a year ago- have been manically exercising to try and make sure it still fits everywhere else! Hoping the hem can be taken in as well, otherwise I will need stilts! :rotfl:

I'm another wedding twin Kacy... so again same reasoning applies to us as well - whoops. :eek: I was thinking of invitations in May... Umm though a step in the right direction I might be able to pull a guest list together other the next couple of days (mine was the same problem as yours Tiara - i.e. OH :rotfl:)

Yes, have you tried any dresses on Kacy - I loved that part. Do you have a style in mind? Mine is hanging up at my mum's would love to try it on again - have lost a stone and a bit so hopefully it will fit even better.

How is the IS Tiara???

i've bought a chinese copy. and it's nice. it's exactly what my OH would have chosen for me, simple - no bells and whistles

but i'm not sold on it!!

after crying at my mum she insisted we go shopping on thursday to find something better

Oh wow Kacy. They are both stunning dresses - But have to confess I prefer the second one.

Its difficult, but my thinking is you only get married once- go for the dress you want. OH isn't going to wear it you are. :rotfl:

But seriously... you don't sound happy with what you have - so perhaps go and try some different ones on and see how you feel. I am sure whatever you choose your OH will love.

We are still waiting on another sample for wedding invites - should be here by the end of the week.
I went into our local florist on Monday and left feeling totally dispirited and fed up - they were not interested in colour schemes, gave no ideas and just basically shoved a a tatty photo book at me and left me to it and ultimately their artificial flowers are no cheaper than fresh ones. So now I am on the hunt for another florist.
On a brighter note the adult bridesmaids dresses are sorted - my daughter had the afternoon off work so we went off for a browse - she tried one dress on and it looked so good that we bought one for the other adult bridesmaid and hoped she would love it too. Brilliant !! she tried it on - it looks great on her too - we just need accessories to match up plus shoes and they are all kitted out.
Still not sure if we are going to have one flower girl or two because my stepdaughter keeps forgetting to ask when Brownie Summer Pack Holiday is happening!! Hey ho!!

I ordered my shoes today, they are irregular choice ones and not weddingy in the slightest, love them!!!

Am doing invites at mo. Mums making them but have had to write inserts so she can stick them in and tie the ribbon up lol!

i like the one you got already i was going to have that dress!! but i went into a bridal shop near me and seen one i liked instead other wise i wouldve ordered it. but its your choice at the end of the day xxx
