That sounds awesome- try not to worry too much about the weather. The chances are you will get a dry day, even if it isn't glorious sunshine. And if on the tiny offchance it does rain, there is nothing you can do about it anyway- your vibrant and bright colour scheme will make it feel fabulous whatever the weather

Speaking of rain, I am wondering about just walking to the church as it is only 5 mins down the road. I hate the thought of hiring a fancy car that would cost a fortune for a 2 min car journey! Though quite what I would do if it was absolutely tipping down, I'm not sure- spose I could always get a taxi!!

Please post some bunting pics for us when you're done, I would love to see

Re: a shame to only have 1 chance to plan a party, I am so going to have big parties for the rest of my life! Vow renewals, anniversaries, birthdays... all with different themes and coloured table runners!:T

DD's reception is now at a posh hotel complete with marquee and live band! AAAAARGH!!!!

Oh lordy :eek: I'm guessing the groom's parents have organised this?! :eek: Is your DD ok with this? It seems a bit out of order just booking somewhere else without consulting you. What has happened to your deposit, and who is paying for the hotel and band?! If your DD would rather have a simple and quiet do then she needs to speak up now:eek:

hi all, i am getting married, or having a civil partnership on 25th august 2012.....so excited!!
ive got so many ideas in my head i think ive bored my partner to death!!!
just thought id join the posts to get even more ideas from you money savvy brides!!

Awwww I can't see them May just be because I'm at work- will try again at home tonight, would love to see them Maybe well be asking for some advice with favour boxes at some point!

Thanks Hadley1, my computer is being strange atm and I can't see the "Thanks" button. I'm not that talented, just very motivated to get out of DIY with OH and these things are a glorious excuse!:D
