When I worked at BAC (as it was) there was a Computer called a GT40 (!) on which the mainframe nightshift operators used to play Moonlander.
This must have been in 1977-78!0 -
Garcia, have emailed my Dad to try and find out what type of computer it was. Had a look at both the pictures but my memory is not what it was and neither ring a massive bell. I wasn't really 'into' computers in general I just remember this game being really good fun.0

Apparently the childhood computers that we had were 'BBC Micro' and 'Amstrad'...
I'm erring on the side of the Amstrad as having googled the BBC Micro it looks a little too retro!
Can anybody crack this puzzle now??
Thanks for any thoughts...0 -
I remember having a BBC in the 80's - does anyone remember "Chucky Egg"? That was one funny game:rotfl:0

If you've a bit of time:

I know these games were for the Spectrum, but the BBC was around at the same time and many were developed for all the "home computers".0 -
I've found it ... It was called Sorcery+, have looked through over 1000 screenshots of various games, it was like reliving my childhood seeing 'Daley Thompson's Decathlon' and 'Moon Buggy'

Thanks to everyone for their input :T0
