Sorry the post I posted has dissappeared so if I start again then you will understand me:D

I was saying Good evening and was wondering if anyone could help me with this years xmas tool box retro sweets as am having a bit of a nightmare, went to poundland and 99p shop and range wilkinsons etc for the tool box and came away with this one which is a hands width and across, is too small, all the contents bought from wilkinsons, asda and tesco are bunched up, don't look good and after reading on this thread how to get the sticky label off- used baby oil, nail varnish remover and hairdryer to get it off and it has left a sticky to touch mark and looks unsightly

You can see the sticky glug left behind with all the removal ideas from here, touch it and your fingers get stuck so also bought a 99p seethrough paper file it is called made of clear plastic

Now that one is not very deep so the sherbet barely fits and all the sweets just dislodge themselves and there are far too many spaces so then I tried this IKEA 99p one but to fill it would take some serious amout of sweets

So I feel like I have messes them all up, the tool box is too small and not able to touch the top because of the stickiness and it is black on the base and clear on the top so is difficult to see through, the paper file is too thin to put any sweets in and they fall about if you manage to close the clasp and the IKEA idea is going to cost a small fortune to fill up properly so what shall I DO?

I need to have better tool boxes, better use of space, clearer see through boxes that are bigger, can I do anything with what I HAVE got though?

Any help would be more than gratefully recieved;)

  • I make jewellery and keep my beads and other supplies in these sorts of boxes. Mine were from Home Bargains (£1.50-£3) depending on the size.

They are clear (base and lid) and no label to remove either:D

There are removeable dividers to make the sections bigger/smaller.
