I got some boxes from the range and am planning on doing this for my son - he's 6 and will love it! I am also going to make some smaller ones for my sister and BIL.

Home bargains have some nice large kilner style jars in (the type with the metal catch contraption on the lid) which would be nice for sweeties0 -

B&M have three for £5 of these or three smaller ones for £1.500 -

Check out Bah Humbugs there's a retro sweet hamper there for £11.99. They are online but as a newbie I cant post links.
And if you order 2 hampers you get a free Christmas Tree Baubles filled with sweets.

I normally get an assortment from Tesco etc, just pick a few different cheap varieties.
The main thing is not to do them until a day or so before giving as I think they can taste funny if opened to soon.Money SPENDING Expert0
