    Home bargains have some nice large kilner style jars in (the type with the metal catch contraption on the lid) which would be nice for sweeties :)

    B&M have three for £5 of these or three smaller ones for £1.50

  • Check out Bah Humbugs there's a retro sweet hamper there for £11.99. They are online but as a newbie I cant post links.

    And if you order 2 hampers you get a free Christmas Tree Baubles filled with sweets.

    I normally get an assortment from Tesco etc, just pick a few different cheap varieties.

    The main thing is not to do them until a day or so before giving as I think they can taste funny if opened to soon.
