i love making things too
i get so much pleasure, from both making & giving them
its a lot harder than just throwing money into a present
but i do know what you mean
if someone just made a little effort to make a small something rather than buy a huge anything it would mean so much more0 -
thought counts for everything
..
im thinking of doing one for OH .. how well do you think jelly babies keep outside the packet? hes going away soon for a couple of days im thinking of doing one then hiding it away i would do it closer to the day but we spend 90% of our time together if im not at work xStill searching .....:)

i know from experience JBs dont keep well
they go hard on the outside:(
couldnt you do the rest, and leave the JBs till nearer the time?
depends how you are wrapping/decorating the box i suppose
or you could get the little bags of JBs and use one of those instead, still in the bag0 -
i never thought of the little bags cheers ma dear x
Still searching .....:)

Years ago we had this young chap at work that during his youth, being housed by the government was shown how to make various incredible origami boxes which he sold for about £10-£30+
I always kept my eye open for this and found that the person that wrote the books that taught his instructor was Tomoko Fuse - google him,
These seem drab to the ones that he made also the symmetry of the patterns on the paper and colour choices were no where near as good as Tomok's, or that chap's http://motherwit.wordpress.com/2007/02/05/origami-pals/0 -

I got some clear plastic ones from Home Bargains, they had a few different sizes. Think they were £2 each.Money SPENDING Expert0
