  • Hi, I have made up a box for my teenage son and haven't been successful at trying to put a label together. Has anyone come across any templates? Or would anyone be willing to share what they have done?

    Thanks
    Merry Christmas!

  • Anyone in Bournemouth area please don't forget our local traditional sweetie shops, or what are left of them. I just went in Jenny & Greg's Chocolate Box today and found out that they may have to sell up, which is such a shame, when it has been there 40 odd years. Please consider looking there for all the traditional retro sweeties if you can get there. I went today and got my Fizz Wiz's, Sherbert Fountain's, Cola Cubes, Coconut Mushrooms, Foam Mushrooms, Flying Saucers, Chocolate Mice, Fried Eggs, Pink Chocolate Pigs, Boxes Of Chocolate Crayons (Previously Chocolate Cigarettes) and sugar mice. Please Please help support them and consider them when you are purchasing your sweeties for your retro boxes.

Oops forgot to say where they are, they are located right in the middle of ringwood high street. 30 High Street...
  • Hello, i just brought a load of glass slom jars from ikea today to make everyone these, they were only 89p each for 1ltr and 0.5ltr jars!!

hmm 18 months not really sure what sort of things, I only really gave my son buttons but i guess you could do chocolate buttons normal and giant, smarties, white chocolate buttons..

I've seen on ebay white and milk chocolate lego men which would be good.

Oh and the gold silver coins!

I wouldn't make chocolate ones just yet as the temps can still get quite warm and probably wouldn't last so long.
Trying to make a better life.... If you need me you'll find me at the allotment.
