I've just noticed that Netto had these boxes on special offer from 2/11/06 at 99p. I can't decide how big they are but they're a bargain if your local store has any left.

Edit...just noticed the link doesn't take you there. Click on special offers then select Nov 2nd and they're on page 3!

  • This page nearly got me into serious surprise ruining trouble!!

My BF walked into the room just as I'd opened it. Luckily, I don't think he noticed the panicked clicking of every button to close the damn page!! :rotfl:

I've been doing something similar and I know he'd have seen and asked for one, therefore ruining my surprise.

Nice idea for the box though. Hadn't thought of that! :T

  • In case this helps anyone.

http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/. These do a large selection of sugar free sweeties. My other half has recently discovered he has diabetes and misses his sweets. I am going to make up a sweet jar with cough candy, acid drops, fizzy cola, etc.

  • In fact, can any one find a site that sells PEZ dispensers and the refills?

I can find a few but this is for my BF so I don't think he'll appreciate a Chicken Little one and would prefer something much more "manly" like Yoder (sp?) or a loony toons character. :rotfl:

My sister-in-law, who hasn't much money to spare, gave me a glass storage jar filled with wine gums and liquorice allsorts last year. She finished it off with a bow for presentation.

It was one of the most thoughtful presents I have ever received.

Unfortunately the sweets didn't last long as the kids found it and assumed it was a "family" present and scoffed the lot before boxing day

However, I have kept it topped up with various goodies throughout the year (milk bottles are my favourite) and have had 12 months of immense pleasure from it.

All my friends, too, can't resist dipping in when they visit.

went to my local Works but they didnt have any boxes, maplins had some but the small one was too small and the one I liked was £4.99. In the end bought one from woolies. I think it may be a tad on the big side though. It has 17 compartments and is 14"x 10 ". I will just have to get loads of v cheap sweets to fill it!
