I have just remembered where i had seen one ......in my house
it is 7in by 11in 1 1/2in high 18 compartments 4cm by 6cm each.
Dont think its big enough though for mini chocolates but would hold little sweets like picture.
It was from beaties and called a embroidey thread organizer only problem is its not clear plastic but you can still see through it just.
Cost was about £3 but beaties isnt the cheapest place.Number 4 due 21st jan0 -
Have just seen retor sweets in Asda. 68p for a bag of pineapple chunks and pear drops. They also had some in their 'value' range for lots cheaper. It would probably work out cheaper if you were making more than 1 cos each bag has quite a lot of sweets.

For my container I'm just going to get a basic gift box with a lid, print out images of the sweets and glue them over the box in collage style, then cover the whole thing in sticky backed plastic to 'seal' them.
I'm going to put loose sweets into small re-sealable bags and just throw eveything into the box!0 -
fab idea op
here is some online shops that sell sweets (works out a few pence) my fave is the first one... most of them do the really old fashioned sweets too
