    Brilliant, thanks for that. My Dh also suggested winter mixture and toffees as being his dad's faves.

  • Ah wow, i am really stapped for cash this year and i think these are ace. I am going to the shops tomorrow to find some ribbon, scewers, plant pots and sweets!!

    I managed to find some really cute boxes which are embossed with For Girls Only! :D Perfect for the sweet containers :)

    Don't forget ur oasis to stick the skewers in the pot!!

    I found my skewers and plant pot in B&Q. Plant pot was £2.99 though, only brought it as they had to same in gold which I brought for my pots of gold lol. Skewers cost 99p

    Taking inspiration from this thread I thought I would make sweetie bouquets for my students and the staff room instead of the usual tin of Roses.

    I got the "living vase" boxes from my local florist for £1 each, plus 2 bits of oasis (enough to do 4) for £1 each. I already had the gold bag (recycled)

    Pack of 100 Bamboo skewers from Morrisons for 89p

    Fun size Cadbury sweets were BOGOFF 2 for £3.81 and 3 for £4. So in total £12.70

    Can't believe how easy it was to make something that looks so effective! :D
