welcome JudoBird. 28th July seems a popular date. Funnily enough I have found out my best friend from school is getting married the same day as me. How weird is that.
I love those 50 style dresses and think they would look gorgeous on.

Ok so im sat here bored and have started to wonder if I want a veil!! I was sure I didnt but after looking at my friends photos and she had a veil I am now wondering if I want one!! Is anyone else having a veil?

I guess I will leave it for now and will try my dress on sometime soon with my tiara etc and see if I think I need one. Im having a panic though that my dress wont do up as ive put on a few pounds! Although I guess if it doesnt it will be the kick up the bottom I need to start losing weight, at the mo im thinking oh I have plenty on time but it will soon start creeping round!

Does anyone else have random thoughts and panics when they are bored, its late and they are tired!! hehe!:D

Tracy- that is strange how youve managed to book exactly the same date, must be a good date to choose.

Re: Veils - nope I won't be having one - but then I'd only wear it to the ceremony not the aftershow party so really it'd only get about 30 mins worth of wear. Not worth the pennies in my opinion. BUT that being said - I am loving some of the photos on here where brides have worn them from the top/back of their head and down their back - rather than over their faces. Some have still had tiaras as well so you can do both Emma. :)

Mmmm random thoughts - not quite random but only because in my mind everything is pretty much organised lol. I do randomly tell MrD things though, like yesterday I told him we'll need a spare fridge freezer to store all the buffet food in, so if he sees any on his travel that are going begging to bring it home (it can stay in the garage).

It's all wet and miserable here today (and I'm a bit put out that MrD is off work lol). I want to get my OU assignment out of the way but can't do it while he's home and I can't be arsed. I might make a start on our invites today :)

Emma Im having a veil and a tiara. The veil was my mums when she got married. I don't think i will wear it over my face.

Starting to feel a bit better so will hopefully start having a play with the wedidng invites this week:)

Emma I am wearing a veil and tiara. The veil is not going to cover my face just go at the back of my hair and down. Am contemplating borrowing my cousins as dont see the point in buying one, and it would class as my something borrowed.

Well I've done it :) I've made our invites - really pleased with them. Together with the thank you cards they've come out at £1.58 each. :T (I had budgeted £80 for them, and I spend £74.19 on everything including glue and craft knifes etc).

Now what can I play with? Lol

Liking the invites Natalie. I'm contemplating cross stitching over the winter months. Just need to find a design that we both like.

:) That'll keep you nice and busy Michelle!! Have you googled 'wedding invites' on google images? That's where I started my designing.

I have decided - I might go have a look at wedding rings this half term.
Lol my OU assignment is never going to get done at this rate pmsl.
