Oh I forgot to say yesterday my 'grooms/13th year anniversary' card came yesterday - got one around A4 size - love it!! I will sneek a photo of it for you all to see (but will then take it down immediately just incase prying eyes are watching!)

You are about 5 years out of date for me haha, used to be short and black (well v dark brown) now shoulder length and chestnut!

I had a wedding dream the other day that everyone all ended up at different churches, so we all rang each other to find out where we were but then because we all moved, we were still all at the wrong churches :rotfl: STUPID!!!

Nothing very interesting to report! I did go and pick up some groom, best man and father of the bride socks at I had ordered today- they are cool, not sure what my oh will say but its a suprise for him!! Plus they will look good for my game to keep the kids occupied- where i give them all a disposible camera and list of things they need to take pics of- i saw it on here but cant find the list now- so if anyone can think of anything that would be good to put on there let me know, one thing will be the grooms sock (yes I may not tell him about this otherwise he will cross it off the list so he doesnt get pestered all afternoon!!:rotfl:)

Ooo will have to think about this one. Obviously there is the usual things like a photo of the rings, photos of key people. But what about ones that express the feeling of the day - like a photo of finished plates, empty bottles/coke cans, (to represent how great the food/drink was), or a photo of the DJs records/cds/whatever. You could have ones like photos of people together, so like you and your in laws.

Well I break up in two days time, and I'm sat scratching my head about what weddingy things I could possibly do during half term.

Oh I also got another price for a heavy D 2mm 18k white gold, and it was close to £300. Lol MrD had better not choose a ring - not sure if the budget can handle both lol. I don't know if I want a plain D or a heavy D ring. I will, obviously, go to the shop in purpose and see which sits at the right height with my non-engagement ring. I definitely dont want bigger than 2mm though... actually I'd be tempted for a 1mm but I haven't see any of them anywhere on the internet (in my very short search).

Oh one thing I will do during half term - get a new photo of MrD's shoes and mine Wonder what other photos I can do now... can't think of anything yet. (That I actually have). I might finalise all the other stationery - like directions to the registry office (for my family) and a list of all the carparks. We live in a small market town, we don't have any massive carparks that are guaranteed to have spaces - we have lots of 10-12 space carparks scattered all over the place. I could print one out - I'm not planning on actually sending these via post I'll just email those who need it.

Car went in today for a service and MOT. We're £470 lighter - it needed two new tyres.

The only other things I need to do during half term is cut all the hedges - joy! And do my penultimate OU assignment. (When I've done, and sent off my last one, I will be throwing a party!!)

Oh I will be paying for my diving for October on pay day. Will pay for MrDs later lol. (Well I guess you can say I'm paying a deposit for us both lol).

I'm rambling now aren't I?

I feel jealous that I haven't had a weddingy dream. I did dream about our Bunny last night if that counts pmsl. I dreamt the little sausage climbed the walls and was climbing along the ceiling beams (which we don't have). I told MrD to get him down (I'm too short), but he was just off to the loo so he said he'd get him when he gets back. But Bun decided he'd had enough of climbing so he tried to wrap his limbs around the beam but couldn't (he's a rabbit after all). So his little paws couldn't hold on and he fell onto his back. I shouted at MrD for being rubbish lol.

Forgot to say- haha Mel at your dream. And natalie- im sure you will have wedding related dreams soon!!

And Laura- glad to hear so far so good- im still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Oh thats a good one about the plates. It will be for the reception so im thinking more random things than groups of people pictures. Will keep them quiet and will give us a few random keepsake photos!! I guess it may be easier to do closer to the time when Ill have more on an idea on exactly what we have (ie may pick a type of sweet), and I know peoples outfits. I guess I could also go for a type of flower etc so they will take a photo of a random buttonhole and things!!

Has MrD not decided yet if he wants a ring? Im sure you will find bits and pieces to do over the holidays. Have you started compiling a list of songs that your going to play yet? That may be something you could start as im sure then you could add to it as and when you think of songs. Actually I think I may start to make a note of songs I like otherwise when it comes closer to the day ill not be able to think of any songs I want!!

Nope he still hasn't decided - lol I'll be very surprised if he does decide before Feb half term next year when I plan on going and getting the rings ordered. I'd quite like him to wear one but I'm not sure if he'd be comfortable - he doesn't even wear a watch!!

Lol and nope we haven't sorted out the play list - lol other than I want lots of my old Steps, SClub and Five cheesey pop songs being played.... oh and Boyzone's cover of When The Going Gets Tough. Lol the sort of songs I used to dance the night away to when we first met (he isn't a dancer). I haven't told him about this yet. We'll see what he says lol. At least there isn't any swear words to filter out lol.

I prefer the idea of random things for the kids to photograph . What about such and such sweet wrapper (other wise they could just photo the whole sweet buffet)... or 3 named sweets touching. Does any of your relatives/friends have quirky things, like Aunt May's walking stick with a balloon tided to it? I'm trying to think of things that I'll be wearing that kids could photo - how about your tiara? Erm... what about things from your reception venue... like a photo of the wood panels on the bar (etc).

The funny thing about my dream - I slept the best I've slept in about a week!

Oh ill have to have a think whether anyone in my family has anything random I could put on the list. Ill have to have keep my eye out when we go to the venue next. Its at a golf club so theres things on the wall etc I could get them to take pics of. Oh yes, good idea, I want as many pics as poss of my tiara as its so pretty!! hehe

nothing to report wedding wise. However took my final exam for uni. am now off for the summer :j
