I can't believe we are over 100posts - oh well i do love all the wedding chatting!!0 -
Well I have just had a very quick play around with flowers in my hair - I'm umming and ahhing between two. I'll share these with you but not for long - will take them down when I get back from Yoga
(forgive the lack of make up and the messy curls lol I'm on holiday!... and please forgive the expressions, or lack of!!!!)
Style A: Normal hair style with flower pinned in.
Style B: Scooped up with flower on the bottom of pile.
I prefer Style A but not sure if that's cause I always have my hair down so it's 'safe'. I also like Style B
Style C: Scooped up with flower on top of pile.
StylePinned back with flower at the back. (my least favourite)
On the day I will curl my hair so the curls are more defined (like the other photo I've shared with you guys). My hair will be redder - at the moment it's faded out, I'm off to get it coloured on Thursday. And the the flower will be white/ivory depending on the dress so it'll stand out much more against my hair colour (used the burgundy one that I had a play around with for MrD's buttonhole rather than waste another flower).
What do you guys think? I'll also ask MrD his views - but he'll be 'whatever'.0 -
Wow - first time for everything...
I just got a proper opinion off MrD - "up looks good". (Style
:T0 -
I like the first 3, in order I actually like c the best, I like the way the curls hang down and it looks really nice and smart but also effortless and natural (if that makes sense, im finding it hard explaining what I mean!!) only thing im not keen on is the flower in the middle, a and b I think look very nice aswell, maybe I prefer b slightly more but thats probably cos im a hair up kind of girl!! (meaning to lazy in the morning to do anything to my hair apart from tie it up!!:rotfl:)
I guess once you have your dress it will help you decide.
Ok talking of hair colour- I currently have red hair (quite dark but is very red in the light) and I was sure that if my hair is still red leading up to the wedding then it will stay red (rather than go back natural dark brown as I love the red), anyway I suddenly had a thought the over day, when I wash my hair the colour comes out for quite a while after (and not helped by the red shampoo and conditioner I use to maintain the colour) so Im now worried if I have red hair the colour will run really badly on honeymoon, (especially if I take my normal shampoo, but if I dont the colour will look faded really quickly) and im thinking a trail of red wont be a good look around the pool!!:rotfl: So im not too sure what to do!!0 -
Stay a red head!!
Who cares if you 'bleed' in the pool!! Just make sure you take your own towel pmsl - not sure they'd appreciate having pink stained towels to wash each day. Red hair bleed is a pain isn't it!! I have eczema at the back of my head so unfortunately I have to use nasty scabby shampoo that strips it of it's colour even more!
I can't wait to get my dress so everything else can fall into place - colour of bouquet, jewellery, hair, make up etc!!0 -
Haha- i can just imagine going to check out to be givena bill for oom and pool towels cos Ive turned them all pink!!
I do love red hair, it is just a pain when its wet/ damp!!
Not too much longer to go before everything starts to fall into place then.0 -
Red hair is the bestest - I will have another play around with Style B - french pleat with flower on the pleat/bottom of tuffty hair bit on Thursday after I've had my hair coloured - may also 'ruin' a white flower and put that in so you can see the real look. *might* even put a splash of make up on :rotfl:0

Oh my days you all sound so busy with your planning! It's nice to see! I have purchased my dress (on eBay) but luckily the seller lived a ten minute drive down the road so I could go look and try it on before bidding. It fits perfectly so it has to be the best money spent so far ( with the exception of the venue). I have no idea how I will wear my hair. I'm really rubbish at inspiration for things like that! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend/are enjoying half term xxx0

Ha I know Judo (do you have a 'real' name?) at the moment I seem to be living and breathing weddings!!
and I love it!! Ha!!
I *try* not to do anything during term time, so at each school holiday I have something to look forward to but that hasn't really worked.
I am jealous at all of you that have dresses sorted!! I can't wait to find my one!! (Not off dress shopping till 30th July - wooo hoo less than 2 months now!). Have you got any photos of the dress you have? Can't beat a bit of wedding !!!!!! lol.
Right I should be getting dressed ready for a jog - not sat on here reading all about everyone else's weddings!!0
