So I've relooked at what I can do tomorrow, and have put off decorating the kitchen today/tonight - will do it at the last minute tomorrow so we will have full use of the kitchen tomorrow for breakfast and lunch.
All food is cooked (that needs cooking).

All that is left for me to do today is receive delivery of the chairs (which are going to have to come indoors because it's started raining!!) Decorate chairs with my gerberas. Clean the toilets. Paint my nails.

So glad I've had these days off work to get this all done - would HATE to be doing this on the same day as our wedding!! :D

P.S I thought about uploading pictures of me in my dress when it was first completed (I was just too excited) but then decided to wait it out until after the wedding so I could share the professional pics :)

Cannot wait to see the professional photos!! I felt that way about my 'factory' made dress - lol so I totally get how it must feel when it's your own creation!! :D

So I thought it's been a while since I shared some photos on here - so here you go... enjoy lurkers :D

So firstly these are the white plastic chairs I've hired (30 of them). They're inside so if it rains tonight I won't have to wipe them down (again).
Decorated very simply with a single fake gerbera (identical to the ones in my bouquet), and some wide wired organza ribbon. Cost £1.35 per chair. (Slightly more expensive that I had hoped but I'm going to be keeping the gerberas and putting them in a nice vase afterwards).

And my cloud 9 balloons. We have made 22 of them, 13 of which are scattered around the downstairs of our house, 9 of them will be placed outside tomorrow. Cost 66p a cloud.

(Also I'm so sorry for being very Mememememeeeeeee and talking far too much about our wedding... lol xx)

Don't you dare apologise . . . it has been an amazing journey for us all to share. We have all waited so long for our month and now its here and i personally love the fact we can all share the wonder that has been 'our' days.

Yes I'm completely calm! I think the closer it gets, the less stressed I'm feeling - I think it's because I know if anything goes wrong now then I'll just have to get on with it - I work better like that! The only thing I'm nervous about is walking down the aisle and speaking in front of everyone - but I'd be nervous about doing something like that anyway so it isn't wedding related!

I am so nervous at the thought of walking down the aisle (well gap between the chairs!). All the rest is decoration and I can only do what i can and pray for a dry day. Doesn't even have to be sunny, just dry.

As some of you know from FB i didn't get to bring my dress home today. the seamstress couldn't make the top we designed together sit properly. the seaming was stiff and jutted out so she hadn't got enough tulle of mine from the dress to make a prototype so she used a different piece to see if i liked the new version first before making it up. I collect it tomorrow morning now. In a way i'm pleased she is being very thorough and double checking everything but i just want her home!!

I have also had my final fringe trim today so the next time i see my hairdresser will be my wedding day and she is going to help me in my dress as well. The DM said to allow an hour to get in it and get it done up right!!! An hour!!!! So i have had to re plan my mornings timings.

Had a moment of inspiration when driving home . . . . i have been worrying where to put my makeup bag and phone etc whilst i'm getting married as i will need them afterwards to take to the venue - When i arrive at the Register Office the bus will be there waiting to take us all back. Put the bag on the bus!! Der, why had i not thought of that before?! I had images of tucking it up my wedding dress during the ceremony.

:rotfl:FutureCooper, I think it was you that coined the term "wedding brain" for the inability to think through/remember basic thinks due to the number of balls we're all juggling! Honestly, when the giant packages arrived here yesterday, I just stared at them in incomprehension.

Just rung round my suppliers to confirm details. My lovely florist says people have been admiring my lilac roses all day wanting to buy them, and she's kept saying, no you can't - they're for a wedding! Soooo excited about seeing my flowers :j:j

My dressmaker popped round today with a few extras. She's made corsages for Mr Ghostlove and my son, and a little flower clip thingy for my hair. By total chance she's used exactly the same black feathers as the lady who made my bouquet used! And the bouquet was made using scraps from my dress, so they match PERFECTLY. :D
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
