It seems like a good time to say a wholehearted thank you to the MSE brides and grooms, and particularly the wonderful July brides. You have helped me so much over the last 6 months, with your advice, ideas and support. :T There's so much work that goes into planning each of our own special days, that it's great to have someone to share the joys and frustrations with.

Goodluck to all brides getting married this weekend- I hope the sun comes out and you all have amazing days.

I love this thread, its helped keep me sane, and has been a great way to share ideas and wedding excitement.

Well Ive just spent about half an hr cut and sticking double sided tape onto my butterflies for the table names and place name cards- they had to be so thin so it was so fiddley! Glad thats a job out the way.:D

Little grrr- suits should have been in this week, oh rang up Monday and they said should they be in Thursday (yesterday), so he rang today and my dads is in but ohs and best man arent- and its oh that is the one that could need a change of trousers as he was a bit in between sizes so went for the larger one- but has since lost about 10lb so not sure now which ones will fit better, apparently they will be in Monday- so oh and best man have to finish early Monday to go and try them on! Apparently they can get oh a pair of trousers in 24 hrs in necessary.

I cant wait to see everyones dresses.:D

Right - I do believe I am nearly done. Giant present boxes to wrap, and the last bits of packing to do, but I think I'm finally done with all the wedding spreadsheets and going offline. Budgets balanced, lists completed, details transferred to my trusty wedding notebook. I'm printing out the last of my (color co-ordinated and linked) wedding and honeymoon packing lists and going into the breach!

Almost, nearly a catastrophe with the dress . . .finally collected it this morning and the seamstress went off to add poppers whilst I waited for 10 mins. 40 minutes later she brought the dress down all sealed up and confessed she had cut herself badly whilst doing it dripping blood on the dress :eek: Luckily she had specialist stain stuff and removed it straight off. Phew!! Could you imagine if I had seen that happen?!!! She is safely home with the beautiful top I designed too. Can't wait to wear her now.
