Well the 'doilies' looked like a 5 year old had made them - lol so that idea has been scrapped. I will probably go with just plain white squares of parchment so the cheesecakes don't stick to the cake stand when people go to pick them up

Haven't done anything weddingy other than that today - been very boring.

iv made my lables for my sweetbags on vista print and made some save the dates although not ordering them until after our meeting with the vicar next tuesday. im on the verg of ordering flowers of ebay to make some bouquets and found some lovely button holes to match! x

I got a personalised wine glass when I was bridesmaid last year- and I love it! It has a painted on picture of whats meant to be be in my bridesmaid dress (same colour- even have the white sash), hair is just like how we had ours and then on one hand I have a pink handbag and in the other I have my shoes (I always take my shoes off!!)- I love the fact its personal and I know my friend must have put some thought into getting it right.

Ive been looking at gifts today as my friend who is getting married next month was looking and Im thinking for my older bridesmaid Im going for a wine glass and wine charm, for my flowergirl a teddy bear and that just leaves my 12 year old bridesmaid which Im not sure what to get her- Im thinking maybe a personalised trinket box or mirror- something girlie- if anyone can think of anything ideas would be appreciated- shes quite girlie!!

Oh dear Natalie- that doesnt sound so good about the doilies!!

Oh wow - sounds like the two of you have been busy today!! I'm jealous lol.

Mmm what would your typical 12 year old like? What about a make up set? Does she wear earings? Does she collect anything?

She gets bought make up set and things for christmas so. So it wouldnt feel that special or different. She does have her ears pierced so earrings would be an option- i remember being a similar age to her and I was bridesmaid and got earrnings as a present and I still remember feeling so upset when I lost one at school!! And no she doesnt really collect anything, shes easy to buy for usually but Im just stuck on a keep sake present .

i was about 11 when i was a bridesmaid and i got a necklace and earing set they give me it on the morning so i could wear it for the wedding! x

Well MrD's shoes arrived today - so I've spent about an hour getting two near perfect* photos....

I took over 100 photos just to get these two! I so could not do it for a living! (I have written my user name across them just so noone else can pinch them!)






* Perfect in my mind - perhaps not in a professional photographers mind! lol.

Natalie- Mac make up- how did you end up speaking to a mac person to get advice about which products/ shades to go for?

I havent done anything wedding related at all today!
