HAHAHAHAAAA
As I was doing the pots this afternoon and there was a lovely big black Audi sat outside my window... I did wonder how much it'd cost to hire such a car through like hertz lol so I could drive myself in luxury PMSL :rotfl:0 -
I keep looking at the ring thinking 'I want it'!! Im so dragging the oh down town next week to have a look.
I showed oh and he was like 'thank goodness thats not local'!!:rotfl:0 -
that ring is gorgeous!!!!
here is my wedding ring. which was a ring of my great grandmas that my grandma give to me! i got it profesionally cleaned and resized so its nice and shiney... you wouldnt think it was over 50yrs old!
my wedding and engagement ring (a little tight but i plan to lose some of that)
and here are my bowls....
i have three of the small lighter ones and 2 of the really dark ones!0 -
:T Another sapphire wearer!!
Lovely rings LauraR!
And I like the almost randomness/quaintness of your bowls0 -
i know i tried to get all blue and they are its just the light one is really thin glass!
mines tanzanite but its really dark! Royal blue is just my fave colour so when oh took me to the jewlery store this one just jumped out at me! i love have a coloured and funky shaped ring! x0 -
LauraR- your ring is really nice, and its lovely that its your great grandmas.
I just hope the ring I like looks nice on me. I dont want a plain one as I think it will look a bit lost and boring on its own, and oh had agreed that if I got a nice but make do one for now I could replace it in a few years, but if I get this one ill never want to replace it or take it off!! And cash wise its on budget (maybe £10 or £20 over- and we wont actually miss the tesco vouchers!)
oh those bowls are very nice.0 -
thanks. we are getting OH one made i have loads of old gold and was quoted £60 (un halmarked why pay £50 extra for halmarking when he is just going to wear it?) i love that mine isnt plain but still simple... do u think it would look ok as a mans ring or not? x0

hehe- i told oh im getting him the cheapest possible wedding ring made from whatever is cheapest as he wont wear it after we are married and said he may not even wear it all day on the wedding day- but does want one for the ceremony part and as a keepsake- so if anyone comes across mega cheap wedding rings- please let me know!
I think it would look fine as a mans ring.0 -

Oh thanks for that link Laura- that may be just what im after, theres no point in us spending a lot for it to sit in a box! Will get oh to try some rings on next week so I can find out what size he is then I may order that one. hehe- and yes more vouchers towards my ring!!0
